1) There were no provisions for what to do in this situation, but a forfeit is certainly not the right move. I can handle losing, but if a team guts or gets busy with real life you can't call it a forfeit.
2) I'm having a hard time figuring out why the Stompers aren't willing to play this game.
3) If they're willing to play a team that's already played a game in this thing I'm sure we can make it happen. I'm sure my friends from the Gods or the Wildcats would gladly give them a run for their money.
1) Agreed
2) I contacted the owner and 2 GM's. One GM got back to me and said they would ask the owner. This went on for more than a week. Looking at their scrim schedule, they just aren't all that interested this season or are busy. Either way, you either replace the match with another team or you cancel that match.
3) Teams that have already played are void. When these matches were set, we were talking about two 4-4 teams, but I understand the other side is whining as they look at the prospects of losing to our region for the third season in a row.
In the meantime, I will ask other owners who have not played yet if they would like to take this match and will keep a list -- for now, the Samoa game is counting until we're told otherwise by the punanis across the Pacific!
