Phish is headlining this year, so it's going to be the hippiest thing I've ever experienced.

Yeah. I already bought my '09 tickets during the holiday pre-sale they had. The lineup is being released on the 3rd and then the tickets will go on sale a week or so later. I'm glad I got my tickets early though, 'cause like I said, Phish has been everything but announced to be one of the headliners this year, and as soon as tickets go on sale, all the Phish Phans will probably scoop up everything they can.

It would totally be worth the trip. We actually camped with two guys that came from Washington state last year. They were complete douches... but that's another story entirely.

They were just overall douches... the only reason they were there was Pearl Jam. Not that there's anything wrong with Pearl Jam (although their set started out shitty and Vedder was way to preachy and the girlfriend and I ended up stumbling back to camp)... but the day they were going to be performing, they got up early as shit so they could get right up front, and then sat there ALL FUCKING DAY. This is a freakin' music festival, you're supposed to be trashed and stumbling around and finding new music (and other things) you've never tried before.

They both sat around and didn't lift a finger to help with anything, and the girl that they came with just made it worse. She'd cook for them and take care of them like they were incapable children. Blew my mind.

They brought nothing... they were douchey little pricks.

I wanted to see Kanye, but if you read up on the fiasco that was involved with him, it didn't go well. We went back to camp and passed out. We woke up at one point and listened to some of his stuff from in the tent, but it was forever away and the sun was already coming up.

I wanted to check out Lupe as well, but we were at another show while he was on. He only had a hour an hour set though... can't remember what we were at instead though. Everything's a little "hazy" at points.
