GG - Porn beats No Name in a close one!

GG. You guys got off to a crazy good start but great game to watch from start to finish. Thought you guys had us when you scored in the 3rd.

I thought we did too. Our pass D is just atrocious (pretty much the opposite of our run D). Moving out some of my run D players this offseason and making some space for more coverage. I'm not sure it will help against a ridiculously good passing O though. In short - we need a S* CB. Any takers?

On a positive note - we stay at #4 in the rankings. On the negative side - missed our chance at the first top 3 ladder trophy.

EDIT: This is more proof why we need more tier matchups in ladder. That one was just awesome to watch (even though a little pained at the result). Now imagine we get to see PORN vs Salty, No Name vs Salty, No Name vs EEA, etc. etc.

PORN vs No Name was an instant classic. Really back and forth, including those back to back turnovers.

Don't know how the QB got it off in time, but if the ROLB had not tried to deflect it, that's a TFL of 4 yards. Serious sack potential by No Name's blitzes on 3rd and 14. I thought that would then set up a 4th and unmakeable FG, which PORN would miss. No Name burns the clock. GG.

Left frame is when the QB threw it, clearly has space, and gets it off in time. No question.
Right frame is how far WR1 would have needed to travel if the RB had not caught it (and then ran an extra 5.5 yards of YAC). That's close, I don't know if the QB gets it off in time.

If the RB had caught it, but was tackled for a loss...that's a clear sack.

This game was REALLY close.

Your run blocking really hurt you as well, PORN's d-line made a lot of plays against the run.

Most likely that's the case. #67 HAHA plays a tier up, yet against a team that's ranked #68. I don't think with a win HAHA passes #63 No Name.

Of all the games I will remember these past three seasons - these ones will stick out to me most (in no particular order)

Rookie - No Name vs EEA - last game of the season, cost us #1 in ladder
Rookie - No Name vs PORN - was 7-0 at the time as a first time coordinator. Screwed up and ended up in Prevent defense vs 3WR - and still kept it to a single digits loss
Sophomore - No Name vs PORN - again, No Name raced to an early lead only to blow it in the second half
Sophomore - No Name vs HAHA - The 4WR Cover 3 Tiger vs Outside Pitches game was insane. The game was close the whole way. And the last play of the game... http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/196195/2329005
Seasoned - No Name vs Animal Kingdom - just a heartbreaker in a game I thought we could have won...
and now Seasoned - No Name vs PORN. I think in terms of classic - this one and the Soph game vs HAHA have to be tied. Both were exceptionally close.

I am surprised how poorly the run did. I did expect Rob to try and stop the run (considering our first two games, No Name did very well rushing the ball and had sub-40% completions passing in both games), which is why I went pass heavy. Worked well for the most part.

Fingerbang was a killer in this game. He's really come on strong in the second half of the season but it's been impressive seeing his rise this season.

Oh word? Didn't realize you were this close to the Top 5. Yeah, seems like win or loss, HAHA's ladder ranking either way is in flux. Congratz on the league Championship!

Thanks!! Yeah its really close, so if you could lose i would appreciate a top 5 ladder trophy in our first season too.
