I think usually most big cities make you pass an emmissions test. If i lived in austin i believe i would have to pass one too.

They're a big company though. Very well rated on their new cars. I probably shouldn't have gotten a used GMC from a new Honda dealer but I still trusted their service and parts department

Holy chit...I bought a Chevrolet truck from a Honda dealership, and they sold me a truck with a massively gunked up motor! Shit kept floating in the lifters, and made the valves rattle. I engine flushed the motor 8 times, and it didn't get all the gunk out. Finally the block got a crack in it, and let water into the oil. I drove it all day like that, and the water mixed with oil actually cleaned the inside spotless. Who'd have thunk it? I used a bottle of engine sealer for the crack, and never had a problem with it again.

Well, until they kept bumping up the payments from $275 a month to $479 a month. The whole ordeal was a nightmare. Even the "super" extended warranty they sold me didn't cover it. Fine print had a clause for pre-existing condition.

I'll NEVER buy from a Honda dealership again....EVER!!!

oh man, the bracket on my drivers side window broke last year

i cant find the specific little piece that broke and they only sell the entire window assembly as far as I can tell, which is 200 bucks.

my window is held up by a 2x4

Jeff Foxworthy: If your truck window is held up by a 2x4...you might be a redneck.

Oh hell that's worse than my deal, I would've gone apeshit on them. Good that the repair took though

Ditto on the Honda dealership bit. I plan to be banned from going there after I show up to as many events with the lemon on my ski rack as possible

My GMC truck was the best I ever owned. Coincidentally also the only other one Ive ever owned. 140K miles, only problems were the battery (previous owner didnt open the hood, didnt see corroded terminals) and the alternator (bad Miller moth swarm in 2011, actually clogged it). Zero other issues whatsoever. Put some new shocks on it less than 5K miles before it was totaled because the old ones were gunna go out within a year or two.

2 months with my Chevy and the 4wd fucked up hard, the window washer fluid line got clogged and burst (cheap) and the electrical system shit the bed with the carfax showing both window motors replaced by the original owner.

When I'm finally rich or at least well enough off, I'm buying the shit out of either a Subaru BRZ or the Audi TT sport.

Quick bit of info on the Audi;

4 cylinders. Sounds like a bitchcar right? WRONG! 420 horsepower. 0-60 in 3.7. Again 4 cylinders. How is that even possible?! Fkin Germans and their engineering.

Looks nothing, it is a beautifully masterpiece of automotive engineering. They got all of that out of four cylinders!

FWIW the sport looks a little different, more akin to the BRZ.
