Question- when someone sues someone else and wins a ridiculous amount of money, how do they get paid and where's the money come from?
Philosophical/technical question, unfortunately I haven't won anything from suing anyone. But when I hear of judgements against people who obviously do not have the money they were judged to owe, like civil or criminal suits where someone is ordered to pay a few hundred thousand to their victims, how/when does the person get the money that the defendant doesn't have?
There are countless court cases where more than 1 party is found to be at fault.
