Maybe we should have a College Football Smack Talk thread and a NFL Smack Talk thread to keep stupid arguments outta this thread.
(I've started my fair share of 'em too....)

Our league does have it's own Forum now....

Congrats. Now do it two weeks in a row.

Shutting out Orlando ? That'll be tough. I'm thinking we'll let up 13-17 pts.

Plus since our team is eliminated, we may just go ahead & start the backups to get them the max XP for one game. Still under debate on our forum...

Whos arguing? I am just pointing out how "aggie" the aggie team is. You cant argue with that.

Nice victory btw.

Hell, no. You freaking gameplan and try to take a victory. Just make sure everyone gets snaps. Get used to winning.

How does the schedulers determine which teams you play in the other conference ? We finished pretty low in the standings last year, but ended up playing 11+ win teams in the other conference.

Doesn't really matter... I'm just curious.

Oh... and Jimmy Turner & DR TRAN are going down to the wire on the Receiving title. Jimmy's only 5 yds back. (DR TRAN will beat Jimmy in TDs tho....)

Willie Mays-Hayes hopes to shut down Dr. Tran to ensure a Jimmy Turner victory.

Back to A#1 football. Sphere looked amazing rolling to a 36-0 halftime advantage. Sphere went into run out the clock mode for the entire second half. I never would have beleived that the Sphere would rout the team that beat Tallahassee and was tied with the Sphere for 2nd place in the conference. I really thought it would be a down to the wire nailbiter like the Orangeblood and Roughneck games were. GG Omaha, whatever your gameplan was against the Sphere I suggest you do the exact opposite next time. I've never seen a safety before in GLB but I only watched about a hundred or so games. Honestly I think Omaha was bitten by the unluckiness bug where everything that could go wrong did in the first half.

Yup everything just went to pieces in the first half. No coming back from that.
But the game planning wasnt good, i think we were expecting more passes and runs to the outside but you just ran straight at us. Look at how often the DE's flared out...
We did loose 2 starting OT's a couple of weeks ago that hurt us.

Oh well. Anything can happen in the playoffs, look for lots of boosts in all teams.

Pesky corner backs have ruined my Yards per game stat, ol' Jimmy used to be 300+ yards behind me at one point.

And Wayne Weeze is right behind me for TD's.

I have no clue on the schedule, but I like it. They gave us the worst team. So we have a bye the last game. Means we have more time to prepare to shut down Omahas running game. I think we already have a doable gameplan for Tallahassee so Omaha get our full attention for 5 days.

Good luck with the Bets WR trophy.

The worst part of playing the vikings is trying not to wear out your team. You kinda have to throttle back your gameplan a bit.

Only a Longhorn would run smack to a team that has beat them two years in a row.

So are the Orangebloods.

It seems like everyone is going to be in the playoffs next year. I wonder who is lying.
