I don’t know. It feels like power got somehow nerfed. Holieway use to have some zip on his passes even with 14 power. Now, his 10 yard passes over the middle look like a 5th grader passing. Might be the snow but I doubt it.

In theory or in practice?

In theory going out should be much better against certain defenses, but I'm not sure how functional it is after the changes, which is why I'm sad he didn't run any.

lmano 14 power should look like a 5th grader honestly. but i have seen the same from 50 power from my qb

It looks like they tried a lot more with these changes than some of the changelogs we've gotten in the past.

And as someone who is generally critical of the devs I want to give them a nod when I think they're at least putting in a legitimate effort.

Agree. I’ve seen change logs in the past with just new plays. At least they made an attempt to fix a huge part of the mechanics of the game.

They should! No way you should be able to execute a passing offense in this game with 14 pass power

But if a 50 power sucks too, I might just keep 14 power...lol

I mean they could do other stuff to help scrambling builds- make quickness, sprinting less expensive for QBs is an idea

I'm gonna chalk a lot of the ducks up today to snow and placebo. If people still feel like 50 pass power is performing below what they were used to that would need to be looked at. 50 is about all a non S* QB can be expected to get and I'm not sure encouraging every team to go S* QB to be competitive is a great thing. HB and TE already feel basically mandatory; throw QB into that mix and you're really going to be hurting to put together different styles of teams.

BSBs QB has 43 pass power in case you want to take a look at the difference there. No idea what other skills your QB has going on, but BSBs offense does not seem to be crippled or anything.

I am not sweating it too much at this point. Could possibly lead to a slight change in meta plays though possibly. Who knows.
