Sometimes changing one thing breaks another in an unforeseeable/unforeseen way, I'm just posting about what I saw and even prefaced it by saying it was a small sample size.

The blocking seems to have been an anomaly of small sample size - but broken tackles on HBs does seem to be down a bit, but until league games start it again just may be small sample size still plaguing results.

The expectation of a Juke isn't to get you out of every problem, but in the cases I posted and what people were a little upset about is juke was getting you into trouble now. The backs could have run away from those situations by just running, and instead jukes toward the defender.


I make a post, one or two guys agrees with me, and it gets absolutely neutered over it. Cutting down activation opportunities to nearly nothing to stop the 1-2 times a game it was doing it at inappropriate times is like dismantling a bicycle and making a unicycle because the customer complained of a squeaky wheel.

But as Corndog had said they hadn't touched Juke for numerous seasons. So it wasn't like something had been changed. You just happened to hyperfocus on a few examples. The vast majority of time Juke was great. And any expectation of it firing exactly how you want without few variations isn't realistic.

But yeah why the developers chose this specific complaint to focus their efforts on is confusing. Instead of focusing their efforts on something mass users are commenting on they chose to focus their efforts on something one person said and people didn't flock to debate it.

And what I'm saying is that literally, I was not the only person to notice something else had changed that effected it somehow in certain situations. HBs weren't juking directly at defenders before that point. We weren't saying it was horribly broken and worthless, though we HAVE been saying that since the nerf - which is why they gave it a boost this season again.

like its not alot theres a wind up and spin but it just looks slower than you would expect. i am also remembering old juke was really fast and explosive but spin feels a little flat. i love the stun effect but it feels slower than you would expect from an elusive back.

both spin and juke have this small "windup" the goes in the opposite direction of the spinning direction any way to make that small enough to not go out of bounds so often with it?

Cover Expert has proven better than swat down imo so far, and having it work in zone is really going to wreck vertical offenses that take advantage of slow over the top help.

Cover Expert requires Cover Tech to work and you do not use Cover Tech in Zone, Ty. Unless it fires so easy you can just put a minimal amount of points into Cover Tech, you can't afford to try this.

I mean, SS might have some cover tech anyhow to help against TEs.

Cover Tech never get's used in Zone. It's a skill that comes in play if you are in Man Coverage only. Zone players drop into their home spot then react to the ball once they make their awareness check:

Sorry but this incorrect. Dream Team use Cover Expert & zone often during it's last Vet run. You put Cov Tech into players to proc SAs. It's why RBs are more powerful than QBs, they actually have SAs based on their major skills.
