Here for shits and giggles we ran a scrimmage where my FULL RUNNING TEAM and a sophmore running qb passed for 36% against a straight pass defense.... That is a joke. (QB nor TE's don't have 1 point spent on pass catching or throwing abilities. I would like to see an all passing team run for a whole game and let me know if you can get to positive yards in the game.

if anyone else would like to sim a game against AK i'm going to set the passing offense as the scrimmage default to prove how the game isn't in balance. No matter what the skills you have a 30% chance at completing a pass even into triple coverage at minimum.

Yes, that proves the game is broken. Because we should be measuring balance based on how well a team can do something that it is completely not built for.

I opened the link - you also forgot to mention:

1) You were playing a team a tier below you
1b) It was GE's team - and they suck.
2) GE also decided to try passing to show how broken it is - and went 3/33 with 37 sacks (essentially - a true completion percentage of 4%)
3) AK got sacked 23 teams - therefore had a true completion percentage of 26%
4) After accounting for sack yardage, you averaged less than 1 yard per play.

I'm pretty sure a pure pass team could run all game and average a yard per play.

He had those same skills in Pro and probably the tier before as I pumped those early (except for Balance), and he also got pancaked plenty, especially considering the O builds theoretically weren't as good blockers as they are in Vet.

shed block SA doesn't really prevent you from getting caked, it just helps you get more side to side movement when you win a break block roll.

that said though, build is helpful but even the best builds can get fucked over by bad playcalling.

Yup, that's why I highlighted the different between this season and last.

The thing the annoys me about Shed Block is it fires regularly on that dot, having 69 BRB and not always getting blocked by OL, but he rarely sheds the block when it does fire. And, being a coverage LB, he has plenty of footwork, quickness, etc. that you think would help him move around the blocker. Pursuit is also capped, and he seems to bee line for blockers. On KO coverage, he will be running directly towards the returner, then actively turn towards a blocker to engage. wtf?

Yeah and I ran ZEB most of the game on accident. WTF is a true completion percentage....

and true ypa is (passing yards - sack yards) / (attempts + sacks)

Stobie should seriously implement this shit into his play analyzer imo

that isn't the point. The point is when A QB with zero throwing skills and TE's with zero receiving skills 1 in 3 will get completed. That is a joke.

And the tier below me was still going against a QB in their tier. It really doesn't matter a tier below as not 1 extra point has been put into throwing or receiving.

GE doesn't play man to man so you aren't getting a lot of contested passes.
