heh, half of Air Raid's passes right now account for Hooks and Curls already. So people must not be stopping those either.

Hell I have a whole playbook dedicated to shorter passes that I dropped 700 yards on QCBC with.

Rookie team vs active Journeyman

WR @ QB, first play, QB rollout right for a TD

I don't know, quick hooks and curls have always been a staple of high passing offense to prevent sacks. For some reason 500-700 yard passing offenses worry people less than 200 yards of QB Roll Out Strong that ultimately lose ; )

Passing in general worries everyone. But there is no easy answer for a fix. A hit to the passing game is a hit to absolutely everyone. A hit to GL QB Rollout strong largely only effects the people spamming it.

Rookie vs anything else but rookie teams in the ladder is the most broken aspect of this game. Right behind GL QB Sweep Right.

Every time you ran singleback spread for short yardage I said bad things about your maternal parent and her recreational procreative tendencies.

Sorry

most of the hooks and curls I use are there because WR3 is the first or second look. They're purely MO insurance.

Oh, and people that say the marketplace is pointless are wrong. I snagged AirMcMVPs excellent speed built TE a couple days ago while trolling the market to replace an inactive agent. Now I get to go single back big some, and Philip gets breathers. I like TE clear out alot :-)

Yup for sure. Just saying though. Taking Deep passes from Air Raid, OG, DADDY, or SF wouldn't stop them from dropping 500 yards of passing on ya.

I agree. Part of my issue with short stuff is its got higher drop rates. Those drags and slants and quick outs? They're higher drop plays, regardless of coverage. Receivers must need some good support skills to get turned to see the ball soon enough or something. I find anything less than 5-7 yards is too short a throw to catch reliably enough to bother.

I dunno I haven't seen higher drop rates from them myself. But none of my guys have any real YAC type movement so getting open underneath doesn't really net near the same excitement.

As for the deep passing, that happens because that's what defenses usually give us. Cleveland and most other QBs target underneath stuff on first and second down more often against cover 2. People just don't use it much. Everyone's got their mind stuck on trying to sack us. I'm pretty sure we're the hardest passing first team to bother with sacks at this point. Or people run man base, which is a terrible pass defense in the current meta IMO. Newsflash! I'm not running crossing routes to that spare LBs territory.
