the throat was pretty bad. it was what sent me to the doc.
I'd plan on full on no energy for the 1-2 weeks, but even after that, it took me another couple until I really felt like I kicked it, that could be where people get the month thing from

Did you get anything more than ibuprofen prescribed? I dont want to ask for an opiate for a sore throat cuz that sounds bad but it's ridiculously painful. Like fucking with my ability to work and go to class, and even eat on the worst days.

Fair enough, and the rest of the symptoms went away in that initial 8-10 days right?

I honestly don't recall if I had a scrip for the pain. I don't think so, but don't remember for sure, it was 15 years or so ago.
Yeah, all major symptoms besides fatigue were gone in those 8-10 days. And the fatigue got progressively better during that time after.

I just farted so hard in the shower that not only did I pee a little a bit but I also blew some soap bubbles out my ass.

For some reason it always seems to smell a lot worse than normal too.

Biology nerd alert- The smell receptors in your nose work much more efficiently when they are warmer, and when it is more moist. The exact same smell will seem much stronger in a wet shower than a cold, dry winter day

hockey and curling rink farts smell stronger than normal. seem to linger longer too
