First game was all Rhinos. Unless Justice was really sandbagging, they are buying tickets for the rest of the playoffs, not selling them.

  16 -   13    Ferrara Salama & Caplaz def. Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils
Ferrara won the last game in a game of FG's, much the same here.

  32 -   12    The Legion's Budapest Devils def. Merc's Mercenaries
Devils dominated the last game. While closer, unless the Mercs D can step up, will be a long day without pay at the end.

  41 -     8    America's Team def. Buffalo Bisons
Bison pretty much gonna be hunted to almost extinction.

Round 1 East

  30 -   10    Sinistral Dynastic def. Chelsea Champions of Europe 2012
Sinistral gave Chelsea the only real beating they took this season. Not gonna get much better if the D can't slow them down some.

  13 -   11    Valencia Bats def. Yorkshire Rippers
Bats had a good win over the Rippers. Yorkshire's offense will need to step up this one or the beach is closed.

  23 -   22    Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars def. The Honey Badgers
Bloodweiser survived the last meeting despite quite a few turnovers. Ran this one 5 times, Blood 3 times, Honey Badgers 2 times, and the score is the avg of the scores. Its gonna be close.

  19 -   13    Uganda Silverbacks def. Sunred Smashers
Sunred had a solid season end win. However, back to back games are tough and pretty much impossible to scout vs good teams.

Vortus... Thanks for all you do man. You're a great asset in every regard in this game.

Gracias. My attempts to make the leagues more interesting along with the game. But, despite some phenomenal leagues on the way up, banter, smack talk etc has been minimal. Reckon many are not paying attention till the nPro's. Have a feeling this will be the last time many of these teams that came up the ranks together will be in the same leagues. Know some are closing shop at seasons end, and pretty sure only the winners get moved up, and the rest will be spread out in rPurogatory. I know some teams have purposefully sandbagged, or used other methods to stay in rPro, but don't think that applies here. We have all been in those hamburger hill elite leagues up to now, and this one isn't far off. In case folks didn't notice, 6 of the final eight were in last season elite 1, the NON playoff teams last season (cept for the Cats and Vooodoo who kinda got screwed in promotions). The eventual tourney winner, Voodoo were one of those teams. Enjoyed the whole road traveled and hope to see some of yall in the Pro's or wherever we end up next season. Cept for the teams I cant beat. You can gtfo.

Thanks Downhill but those two teams were at a distinct disadvantage. Like Vortus was saying, we've all been elite up until this season. I didn't sandbag last season, I flat out took the whole season off from everything. Three straight years of OCing from one to 40 teams at a time (in the old days you could do that) and 15 to 50 STs. I was getting seriously burnt out.

I figure we all sandbagged to some extent or another. Not showing the full hand till the playoffs. But now, any of us are facing a crossroads, win and go nPro. Lose and be stuck here again, with younger teams bitching about being stat whores. So we all want out this season. I know we are giving the Bats everything we've got this time.
