Just wanted to add a couple thoughts into the "No one will ever build X" discussion.

1. Why would you not want more choices, as opposed to fewer ways to build a player?

2. Not everyone builds with an eye on the Pro/WL. Different people have different goals.

If that's the case, you'd probably want to have some sort of VA in between sliperry and bruiser that only works with 0 on teh slider. Because lolololol if you think anybody is going to give up those VAs in favor of some better majors.

Combo, but no Bruiser or Slippery allowed.

VA or SA that allows them to gain 1% to break tackle or fake chance% that is only available to combo's

It will be interesting to see what the Archetypes do to the FA market. I imagine the same positions will be overwhelmed (HB, QB, WRs from new agents), but you might actually find some FBs and TEs that were accidentally built well.

no quick feet allowed either then? otherwise combo backs will likely end up being the best at faking. O_o

Some of those "choices" we're going to find are worth significantly more than others--and some worth significantly less. I'm not sure this is going to bring on the build diversity that some imagine it will--I think it'll enshrine cookie cutters at some positions.

I like that. This would go in line with the idea of having VAs that are only allowed to certain archetypes. Give something like a +2% break tackle bonus and a +2% fake bonus, or something "middle ground" like that.

For some it's going to encourage some degree of circle-cap building, since they'll have several desirable majors upon which to train/spend SPs.
