I really don't understand how "Points For" is a tie breaker before "Conference Record" is considered. It doesn't make too much sense to me really. It essentially encourages teams to run up big scores, and ignores a team's ability to beat the teams in its own conference, vs. the out of conference game.

Oh well, that's the rules, so that's how we will all play huh?

Yeah, Week 1 should be thrown out automatically in a tie, first things first. It's pretty stupid that he hasn't done that. Anyone that knows football would agree, I think.

Any team is 100% within their right to do it, and I'm within my right to laugh at it, particularly in this case. I had this same discussion with their OC about it all the way back in ssn 9, when he tried telling me that I needed to do it and why. Points scored for the tie breaker didn't come up in that conversation...Things like hurting them, embarrassing them, making teams fear us and so on were the reasons he wanted me to put it in. Not that anyone should care, but I'm not the least bit butt hurt about it. I just thought that mind set was funny/a little sad then and I still do now.

LOL...no it wasn't OK, so maybe it was for about a quarter and then the talent gap kicked in. After that, it wasn't pretty at all. You guys have a hell of a team.

Steve, I suspect that we'll be out before we'd face you guys again. Looking at the scheds left, you guys stand a great chance of finishing with the #1 slot (congrats, you deserve it). Port has 3 tough games left. Fever has 4 left. Next to you, we have the easiest sched (and we need it). At worst, I see us finishing with the 3rd slot, maybe 50/50 on the 2nd. Either way, we'd need to make it to the conf champ game to face you guys. I don't see that happening. We'll be better next ssn, but I'm afraid that it will still be a couple ssns before we are a legit threat to you guys.
