Why does this tournament always come down to the last game?

Dunno, we are a better league imo, but as long as it has the same ending I will be happy.

I think it's just showing the competitiveness and how well planned out these games are. All of the games are against even opponents and that's why we're in a tie right now.

If you want to re-do the pre-arranged seedings, it doesnt make much sense for the SA pro guys to accept that unless you are replacing the team now out of it with a similar ranked team.

1) There were no provisions for what to do in this situation, but a forfeit is certainly not the right move. I can handle losing, but if a team guts or gets busy with real life you can't call it a forfeit.

2) I'm having a hard time figuring out why the Stompers aren't willing to play this game.

3) If they're willing to play a team that's already played a game in this thing I'm sure we can make it happen. I'm sure my friends from the Gods or the Wildcats would gladly give them a run for their money.

Agreed, but I would rather not give them the ammo of our substituting a 10-4 against their 6-8. If anything, substituting a lower record team seems the way to go. We won't have to hear the complaints if we win, and if we lose the matchup, we lost to the better, higher ranked team. Medellin is a good squad, and probably isn't a bad match-up for Samoa- but since it is an obvious issue with them, I wouldn't do it...

I'd like to reiterate my recommendation of the Jersey Wildcats. Schedule the final matchup for a few days after the playoffs start as it looks like the Ghosts aren't a playoff team, and if they squeak in they'll be in the final spot and a likely 1st round loss. That will give both teams time to gameplan. Jersey had some horrible chemistry to start the season and as an OPL team who dropped the ball and lost in our scrimmage, I'm confident Jersey will represent us well.

And if the scrim is in the offseason and both leagues are tied it would give the non-playoff teams on both sides a chance to chip in with some scouting and gameplanning.
