Good effort NEBP, the important part (other than a win obviously) is that you kept it close.
As much as I don't want to see it go to a tie-breaker either, it could well end up that way.

Whichever way we end up winning this thing, I have to say it's been a blast.

It's really been great seeing the Big O come together like we have and, IMO, it's provided a huge boost in interest for the mid-season stretch. Everyone that has contributed - on both sides of this Cup battle - has made season 5 more fun and has hopefully laid the groundwork for future seasons. Maybe next season we'll have 15+ teams interested from each side, and maybe the Magellan Cup will continue for many seasons to come.

Thanks nautilus, havoc, and rabideasterbunny for organizing it and setting the match-ups. Thanks to all 24 owners that stepped up and entered their teams and to all of the GM's and agents that have been a part of it.




Now, MTD, go and finish it right.

I agree, its been great working and routing for everyone from OPL. Great job Turnit for organizing as well. I suggest, after we win this, we put the cup in a stickied thread in our forum for all visitors to see. GL Melbourne, finish these guys!

They left with their tails between their legs. They are all talk and that's it.

It's definitely been a good time to have O-Pro band up and go after another league. I've enjoyed rooting for people that I've never really had a reason to root for before, and we should definitely try to arrange more of these. If more manpower is needed, I'd be happy to take an active role.

Great job EVERYONE.... a win or a loss, you all represented us well. This was very fun. Like said before, it helped spice up the midseason. I hope this can remain a tradition every year. Maybe could even do two a year with another league if they are man enough. I definitely think this helps get Oceania's name out there.

Oceania should hopefully get a little more attention and respect (even though we will never get it from some). I will say it again, WE have the best GROUP of posters by far IMO. We battle each other on the field, but still respect each others games.....which makes it VERY easy to root you all on in other tourneys and such.
