The numbers are pretty clear. Going from 400-700 pancakes a season(for top guys) to around 200 is a lot more than adjusting to the meta.

I'm fully convinced the change is in full effect. But you can believe what you want.

By the way, it makes very little sense to say this:

And then this:

Not even worth mentioning the blocking changes with these conflicting views.

I'm saying, a combination of the nerf and the adjustment to meta is why your OT and everyone else's now sucks a bag of dicks.

The believing whether or not the scaling back of players has happened or not is a whole other discussion.

So since it's a combination then you are conceding your first argument.

By the way I agree with you that it is a combination of the two.

Blocking changes AND defenses adjusting.

I have worked with many players that were around before and after the changes and everyone is effected.

Right now it's impossible to know whether those number changes are due to. Like I said, they are two separate arguments.

If you don't believe me just look at rushing teams now vs CPU teams and then look at them 3-4 seasons ago. The pancake numbers are way different and it removes your "meta" argument.

Except I'd say running was more powerful then than passing is today. At least with passing as it is now you can give a passing teams headaches if you're built to contain passing offenses. Granted you won't 100% stop them but you'll limit the damage. Running pre-pHB nerf was kind of ridiculous. You could be built to stop the run and still get destroyed by S* pHBs consistently. Imani Cross on Stunners was a pretty good example of that.

Excel that you can fully be built to stop the pass and still dont Slow down top passing teams enough while beeing able to shut down a running game with nearly no investment in like 3 seasons just by using the right plays^^(talking about erkner) so no, dont agree with u at all here

It was. I'd have to find it again. They weren't going to change the visual skill value; just the effective value for game play with a phase in for existing players. It's been 6 full months since the change. 3 Full seasons and the current partial 4th.

On GLB2Scout, I just built my LT on LZ Boys. With everything constant (Mentals, Physicals, Blocking), I can get him to Pass Block Tech 81, Pass Block Power 44. His shown skill values are PBT 82 and PBP 44. So there's a difference of 1 point in PBT.

I respec'd him and all my OLine at the time, so other players may have a different visual difference but all you need to do is rebuild the player on Stobie's Scout site and you'll see accurate info.

And PORN pulls their 3rd straight competitive Pro team this time a team that's better than the other two with probably the best S* CB of all time. Rest of the top 5 besides No Name has pretty easy games. I hate this seasoned vs Pro team crap. Will be surprised if EEA doesn't jump porn after they lose.

No Name: 1 seasoned team played (first ladder game of the season, very easy opponent)

Yet we may win a tier trophy. Pretty amazing. (being sarcastic here)

EEA did draw Virgins so that could be a competitive matchup at least.

Also of note: Only 6 teams in seasoned are in ladder range of PORN.

EEA
No Name
Salty
HAHA
Bloody
Virgins

EEA is in their league... so only 5 potential ladder opponents in the tier.

EEA and No Name are tied at 62 - so we get another 4 or 5 possible seasoned ladder opponents.
