C1 Wide Dogs is a pretty nice play for a S* Power FB to poop on.

97 Power Running will do that. Is it easier for a FB to get up to 100 power running? I might do something like this on my 1980's Villan team. Go with 1 HB and 2 FBs. Will a FB play HB if the HB comes out of the game?

Yes it appears that Power Running is a little cheaper for a FB compared to HB. Keep in mind that the Virgins have a S* FB though.

I'd hold off on that, Diamond formation really needs some more running plays for the WFB. You and Virgins should get together and campaign Bort/Corndog for more offensive plays out of Diamond.

Maybe keep a rushing FB on a CPU team ready to switch over to your real team if new plays get added a few seasons from now?

They should really let you switch out a FB for HB. Don't understand why you can't do this. That will allow you to go with 1 blocking FB, 1 HB and 1 Hybrid FB, who could sub for the HB.
