I consider the entire NFC East one giant nasty rivalry. Dallas/Redskins definitely top the cake there.

Of course the same could be said for the entire NFC North. But there is only one good team in that division, so it isn't as prominent at the moment.

sorry hardass. i didn't feel like reading 2,000 other posts

also, why don't you start a new thread if you're going to talk about the NFL throughout the entirety of the only thread for A1 League

uh no. maybe in the 80s but def. not now. its usually eagles giants and cowboys battling it out. the skins dont do too much. plus now with TO in dallas id say philly and dallas is the top of the cake

over the past 3 years, I dunno if an eagles fan have the right to say the skins havent been doing too much. I would say the Skins have done just a bit better.

I just read that the team movements rules changed this season. The top TWO teams in each conference move up and the bottom TWO teams in each conference move down so I guess the Sphere is leaving even if they don't beat Tallahassee. (Assuming that the Sphere makes it into the Western Conference championship game this year.)

where did you read that?

2 and 2 seems off because if the top 2 teams in each conference move up that means 4 teams from each conference (total 8 from the league) would have to move down.

e.g. AA1 will get 4 teams from A1 and 4 teams from A2 and would need 8 teams to move down. so it would have to be more than 2 teams from each conference moving down.

Reading about 3-4 posts above that would have sufficed.

There are about four franchises with a more storied past.

1. Dallas Cowboys Yeah, I am biased but everything except the weather makes Dallas a more storied team.

2. Pitts Closest to Dallas and the gap aint much.

3. SanFran. I hate them, but they are very good.

4. Cheese Heads.

Not really a great list unless you break it down into era's. Seeing as Dallas only started in the 60's, i would have to eliminate them from being most storied franchise overall. Early era 20's barnstorming and 40's was the Bears starting with red grange and then you had the famous t formation in the 40 or 41 championship game the bears won 73-0. Moving into the 50's it was otto graham and the browns.30's and 60's belonged to the packers GB became title town i think at this time. 70's had pitt dallas and the raiders. Pitt ruled the SuperBowl's dallas and their cheerleaders were the media darlings in the late 70's. 80's to present hard to say 49'ers int he 80's for sure, 90's started with dallas. 00's pats meh. So to truly make an argument of the most storied franchise is tough indeed.

Bears and Papa bear halas, and Packers and Lombardi are probably the 2 most storied franchises. And the Packers hold the record for most titles with 12 9 nfl championships and 3 super bowls. The Bears have 9 total 8 nfl and 1 super bowl. So most storied Franchises.

1. Packers

2. Bears

3. Ny giants with 7 total titles and 3 super bowls ranging from 1934 to last years upset over pats.

All 3 teams date back to the start and if you talk about most storied franchises teams like dallas come in late in the story and dont quite rate top 3.

4. your choice here dallas isnt a bad choice.
