I got this super nice new desktop a week ago but but I keep having to push back the start up because I keep realizing I'm missing parts. First I had to wait on getting a monitor, then the monitor didn't come with the right cords, now after I got the everything up and running I noticed that the computer doesn't have a wireless adapter...You never notice how completely worthless a computer is nowadays without an internet connection until you dont have one.

doing some 'corporate compliance' training today...bunch of online vids re: insider trading, whistleblowing, harassment, etc

there are short vignettes where a dude comes on screen and talks about shit...he's got the worst and most effeminate lisp imaginable...god bless the earlier diversity training video

Not sure if I should feel bad about this or not.

I replaced my phone and got a new number like...last July. On my old phone and number, I had an app that redirected my missed calls and voicemails to their servers, sent me an email, and let me listen to it on my computer, skipping Verizon's crappy system.

Well, apparently the calls and voicemails are still being redirected to their servers, and I'm still getting voicemails, and I can still listen to them. Today I got a voicemail from an insurance company about Kurt's (the guys name who has my number now) car accident on the 14th.

It doesn't seem like it's right, but I'm not even sure how I'd fix it. I don't own the number anymore.

listen to every fcking voicemail. until that number no longer exists you need to listen to each voicemail. it may help us solve a crime one day.

Decided to switch over to Chrome from Firefox. Not disappointed at all. Firefox had been eating up so much memory even with just a few tabs open. Chrome has been so much faster.
