best NFL rivals

Bears vs packers.
NYG vs eagles
Jets vs Miami
Pats vs colts
Denver vs KC
SF vs Dallas

To me, no matter how bad the teams are... those are always the best games to watch.

Thank god for the package!

Denver fans hate Oakland far more than KC

The Raiders are loved about as much in Colorado as the Red Wings are, actually less.

Remember going to a pre-season game against San Fran and people selling "official" Raider Hater shirts outside the stadium.

SF VS Dallas is not a rival, sure the teams hate each other but not a rivalry that most Dallas fans I know would consider. I would rather say A Dallas vs. Giants or Dallas Vs. Redskins is a better rivalry than SF

SF vs. Dallas is known as a heated rivalry due to the teams that were superbowl contenders throughout the last 30 years. Lots of playoff battles between the two.

But I agree with you Tumr, Dallas has a certain type of hatred towards the skins.

Oakland vs KC

Chicago vs Minnesota
Chicago vs Green Bay
Green Bay vs Minnesota

I live in the Dallas area and you never hear any "rivalry" talk about San Fran. Plenty of talk about playing New York and Washington though.

And yeah, I know, NFC North. Still hard for me to get used to the "new" divisions, hell most of it makes no sense anyway.

People do underestimate how much us Pats fans hate the Jets.

I at least respect the Colts, their players abilities & coaches. (Maybe not their owner or GM, but I digress...)

I think the only thing keeping the Dallas/Washington rivalry going is that there's a gazillion Cowboys in the DC area.

I have only one team I hate more than San Fran as a Cowboys fan and thats Washington.
I have never understood how its not a main rivalry. Since the early 80's if we were good the championship has gone through the 49ers.

No love for Washington here either, I will be booing them heavily at the Cowboys Redskin game in Sept.
