If an individual mod/admin is sparking incidents instead of moderating them and forcing admins to come out and react to this, then why is he a mod?

Any other job, if my supervisor has to come out and do my job for me on a prolonged basis, I'd get fired.

I don't think Satch wants to be a mod, if I'm not mistaken. I think it was brought up before with not much.

Not Valid....your mods represent you. If when you are not around, which is fine, there is no one that can effectively handle situations like this immediately, then that is something else that needs addressed.

Additional note...Essentially purely by the lack of any response about the TH situation you have let a mod become the face of your business and alienate your customers.....may want to consider revamping your org chart!

Yeah, that was not cool IMO and I let him know.

By the one statement alone Tim has proven why he should not be a moderator.

After everything that has gone on with this whole situation he no longer has any credibility as a moderator and any future actions taken by him will always be looked upon with bias, regardless if he is right or wrong.

Guys, we're over complicating this. I still don't know what caused it. I just know the class of person involved (and BTW - I've never known him outside the game). Instead of deleting threads (another piece of evidence that there are major structural problems here), the following should have happened:

It's simple guys. Bort should have said publicly, "Satch, if you're not our top customer, there are few in your class [adapted from B Phillips]. I know you would not do something that would hurt the game or it's players. I will investigate what we could have done better at GLB to prevent this situation and get back to you. Please accept my most sincere apologies while I fix this."

It's that easy. There's no "admission of guilt," just an admission that Satch is a great guy, and the boss will figure it out.

Where the F is a public apology to Satchmo? Hell, he already has one foot out the door. I don't even know that an attempt at resolution will be enough to bring him back. That is how serious this is issue, Bort.

Further, do not think that my threat is empty or meaningless. I can think of 25+ Longhorn affiliated teams off of the top of my head, and I promise you that they will follow us out the the door. You have only seen a small representation of it so far on this thread. My teams have been notified and are standing by awaiting word from Satchmo.
