Fascism : a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition.

I mean it's so obvious that is what is occurring. What do you think will remain after trump dismantles everything? He will have total control and he won't give it up. Everyone he has put in power has zero experience and total loyalty to him.

Every fascist dictator in history came into power saying oh the government is so corrupt and I'm the only one who can fix it but there are just too many laws and rules in place preventing me from fixing it. I need more power. And the sheep just give it to them.

You don't honestly think our government isn't corrupt? It's not far too big & bloated? It's not horrifically inefficient?

He is not trying to stay in power he is trying to fix this pile of garbage we call a federal government. He is losing power by giving it to the states but also offloading the responsibility. Now it will be up to you to actually vote in your local elections to get what you want done instead. Your state/local has more power over and effect on your life than the fed does.

Where is there forcible suppression of opposition by Trump?

You can pick any litany of examples of the Biden admin however....

Again, how is he expanding his power?

He's sued or threatened to sue all social media companies and news companies so they have all fallen in line now and kissed the ring. Threatened to primary every Republican who didn't kiss his ass until now they all do. Don't worry, you will get plenty of examples once the fbi and department of justice ramp things up and start investigating anyone and anything that says anything bad about him. They just fired half the government so everyone is going to be afraid to lose a job now if they don't agree with him. The fact you pretend you don't see this playing out is a bit strange to me, I'll be honest.

I honestly do not feel our government was corrupt. Were there some bad actors? Of course, but not the majority. Some inefficiency but again not this massive abuse that everyone is claiming, stil with no evidence given to us btw. You claim he is giving away power to the states, what examples do you have of that because I have seen none. I also don't believe he will, he is a narcissist, at least we can agree on that? I was married to a narcissist for 4 years, believe me, you cannot believe a word that comes out of their mouth.

Only if you live in your Trumpanzee propaganda bubble safe zone. If you ever found the courage to step out of it and read some actual journalism, you would understand just how badly you've been lied to.

You mean all of the MSM that was funneled money by the State Dept through USAID to spew propaganda???

Is it surprising that now that the money has stopped being funneled suddenly shows on MSNBC and their ilk are being shuttered. Hell look at Politico same thing. We even funneled to the BBC to spread State Dept approved messaging.

You wanna see what cultish media looks like...

You wouldn't happen to have a link to any legitimate, non-conspiracy media source that could corroborate this bizarre funding scheme, would you? It all sounds rather implausible.

Yeah, so I don't consider Twitter to be a media source, but I did check your .gov links (even though the one you posted for the NYT doesn't work...). I thought that the Department of Defense spending was odd, so I read the details of some of the contracts. Looks like most of it is for subscriptions, and there's a lot of DoD employees worldwide. And I'm guessing that the HHS spending would be for pandemic-era vaccination advertisements and the like. You did well providing an authentic source, but I don't think it bears out your anti-Golfenfuhrer paranoia.

You realize Trump *Won* with those suits, correct? One way for media to stay out of court might include following the law.

Which "fascist dictators" actively sought to dismantle the Federal government?

He wants to give FEMA power to the states....He actually talked about it at length a couple weeks ago. Education also so far.

He is a narcissist, has been his whole life. He also was handed millions and a ton of power (in NY) at a young age so that's usually how they end up. He does seem to have grown up a bit in the last few years. He is slightly more tolerable now but prob more just because of his age.

All DOGE is doing is downsizing and cleaning up this ridiculously overbearing government. We are massive and terribly inefficient...Show me any government agency at the federal level that runs efficiently. The smaller it is the better imo.

Here is the BBC link directly from.their website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaaction/about/funding

Their 2nd biggest source of funding this past year was from USAID.

Our government is basically subsidizing all of MSM. I think it's reasonable to assume that the US Govt has quite a bit of pull with the media and can pretty easily get them report/write what they want them to.

Full disclosure I don't love Twitter as a new source. You absolutely can be exposed to bogus/factually incorrect news. 100% won't debate that for a second.

The issue is that MSM is largely compromised and essentially a government mouth piece. You can't really trust it either which is unfortunate.
