Your defense was actually fine he only had a QB rating of 68, which is fairly normal. The 550 yards are offset by the 4 turnovers. Your real problem was that you got sacked 12 times, completed almost none of your passes, and neglected to use your S* HB, FB, and offensive line to do what your team does best. If you wanted to pass all game and run with your QB your QB should have been your S*, but he's not. Megatron is. So treat him like it.

This is exactly why I am going back to a balanced offense. I went to far on the passing. My team is built to run.

Running isn't that bad in rookie, but you have to pass to succeed in the current meta.

I dont think its the high pass power but more the Zone Awareness and Physicals of your defense. The is commonly not high enough in Rookie. You'll get there in time. Zone is very strong in the later tiers

GE if you lose faith in your run game, just look at the 3 run-only teams in Egg League right now. A combined record of 12-0 should tell you all you need to know (although I did only get 5 yards against you, but you have amazing run defense).

This is why I originally had a S*HB over a S*QB. I ended up with both because they lowered the S* requirements, but zone defense scares the hell out of me. As a coach who's mainly passes the ball "Eye's on the Prize" is the bane of my existence.

Your record is 1-6, so really no reason not to simply reroll your offensive players. Better to take the chem hit now, than to try to salvage builds on upper tiers that don't mesh as you want.

I think you misunderstood Raid. He realizes that it's good for rookie, he's referring to the later tiers.

My long term offensive goal never changed. I just started off rookie, pumping run offensive skills, then changed half way to pass offensive skills. If I had started pass from the beginning, I would be fine. Hell, I have Snap Reaction high and silver First Strike on some of my WRs and O-Linemen. I forgot how to build for rookie....I am not worried about our end builds.

Ok cool. Your S* players actually look fine on offense. It's the non S* dots that are underperforming.

He had a nasty team with the Alaskan Assassins seasons 36-44. He really made you work and did not allow passes to be thrown over the middle. I had the pleasure of facing #1 LB of all time Eyes on the Prize
