Oh my god, you have to run multiple plays now lol. There is no doubt there were major issues with PA. They are still good plays but are not supposed to work 60% of the time and especially not when teams would just run them 3-5times without another type of play in between.

Too be honest, PA plays were overrated. Like Osiris pointed out, a good defense will manage them just fine. What I see now though is that they're useless for any team not built to proc them, like a negative. So only a few select teams will be able to take advantage of using them. Will be interesting to watch

Corn, is there anyway we could get a passing SA based on Pass Tech or Pas Acc. Really enjoying the SAs added the past few years, and QBs could use one for their main & expensive skills. Everything goes off Pas awareness, and many are dubious about that skill's impact on receiver selection. Something like Laser Arm from GLB1, with bonuses similar to Quick hitter, but for medium passes.

Well, I was of the opinion Juke was fine before the initial nerf that wrecked it (outside of juking out of bounds or the other odd fires), and I was a power HB guy for years

I must not be reading the same forums because I don't remember a majority consensus about Juke needing to be changed.

Juke was awesome 2 seasons ago.

In fact the forum consensus seems to be that the 'fix' was a gigantic nerf.

I mean it's good to try and eliminate the wobble from a chair, but not at the cost of it being usable to sit on.

There was several threads talking about how, sometimes, Juke put you in a bad position.

https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5308559

A few users were on a pretty hard campaign all season about how broken it suddenly was. Nobody said anything else about it so we just assumed people were in agreement and made a change to fix it putting you out of position sometimes by lowering it's allowed vector.

Yeah I don't know why Raid was complaining about that there. You can't have an expectation that juke is always going to juke to open space. It was working with successful awesome jukes about 95% of the time. He was complaining about something that might happen 5% of the time. In real football a juke isn't going to successfully get you out of trouble all the time either, so we need to have some realistic expectations.

So maybe the takeaway is that people need to have some realistic expectations and stop nitpicking and if there was some way we could officially vote for changes (and a priority of said changes) to demonstrate there is a consensus.

For example- if you were to take a vote- I'd bet the consensus would tell you that if you were to only make one change for next season it would be to finally fix kicking.

Yeah I'd say Juke has become less interesting and Spin become more interesting.

“Reduced y strength on avoidance vector when breaking tackles with elusiveness, to give the movement a bit more of a sidestepping motion“

Is this a good or bad thing for elusive backs?

It was something that had cropped up recently, was just pointing out the issue.

It literally had not been happening like that for many seasons, then suddenly it was a little off.

The expectation of a Juke isn't to get you out of every problem, but in the cases I posted and what people were a little upset about is juke was getting you into trouble now. The backs could have run away from those situations by just running, and instead jukes toward the defender.

I make a post, one or two guys agrees with me, and it gets absolutely neutered over it. Cutting down activation opportunities to nearly nothing to stop the 1-2 times a game it was doing it at inappropriate times is like dismantling a bicycle and making a unicycle because the customer complained of a squeaky wheel.

Blame me though.

The is unfortunately about all we have to make changes based on. Several threads that season had popped up or been derailed about how Juke is suddenly broken after not being touched for 6 years. That had been the a pretty common complaint I read with no noted disagreements.

But like, I'm not blaming anyone. I'm just saying people shouldn't watch one sim right after the changes and lock into any inconsistencies they see that game as the new rule.

We don't randomly make a bunch of changes and then not post about them. What would be the point?

I wouldn't be mad if you made a fix to the NEW notification and didn't post about it

OR WAIT, DID YOU?!

Pretty sure that's just a bug related to time data with daylight savings time.

any chance spins and jukes could not trigger on going out of bounds? or is the the elusive setting?
