Didn't know rookie was considered higher level lol. Seeing as the argument is that CPU is OP in a rookie thread then your post is irrelevant.

CPU isn't OP imo, but weather sure is. 23mph wind is just crap for passing teams. Ints were flying all over the place today with the aid of the offsesaon changes

CPU teams owned by competent agents shouldn't be finishing top 3/5 of ladder that has a lot of quality human owned teams

Yep...they definitely need to revamp weather and give real home field advantage by letting teams choose their weather conditions.

Academy is actually 12th right now due to some bad loses lately. And a CPU filled team should be able to finish top 5 in rookie with good coaching, but that wont happen in higher tiers. In rookie, random generated player skills are much closer to agent generated player skills.

CPU, especially in rookie, are better than user players at blocking and block shedding.

so if there is 20+ mph winds you cant really throw effectively in rookie, so then yes CPU would have an advantage, esp with human gameplans.

We all play in the same weather so I'm not sure how that changed anything.

GG our kicker handed you that one and that damn fumble on our own 5 with time running out. I knew that extra point would cost us the game.

Weather changes how you build teams so you can get an advantage in the playoffs.

Completely agree. Wouldn't mind it at all if weather was based on home region. As it is right now, winning your division means nothing. Playoffs would be way more interesting.

We threw more passes than Dream Team It's not like it didn't hurt us too, maybe more so.

Different aspects of the sim changes based on the weather. Wind isn't usually a big problem, but today it was 23 mph. AA had 6 Ints, Dream had 4 Ints, TIT had 4 Ints, Practice Squad "only" had 2 ints lol. Conversely, the wind doesn't impact running at all, so if you're a passing team you're in for a tough time. Snow however hurts rushing, and really nerfs speed teams, especially speed RBs. Clear weather is how the sim was before weather, so its pretty neutral. The idea behind home weather is to give teams a real home advantage, and make regular season games actually matter.

Incidently, the weather for the next ladder game is Heavy Snow/14 degrees/24 mph winds.....so basically hold on to your RNG hats.
