Hello again, folks who care about rookies...
#1 Zorp vs #134 (soph) Music City Miracle
Second game in a row for Zorp vs bad sophs. Zorp is as good as at least mediocre sophs, though.
Zorp, 24-3
#2 Dryden vs #3 Harrisonburg
Dryden stomped on an apparently poor offensive AI for DD2 last time, in what was supposed to be a good game. That doesn't explain their 41 points, though. Bulldogs are a real deal team, but I think the Balls are closer to Zorp than they are to the rest of the rookie pack
Dryden, 17-7
#4 Salty vs #6 D-town
Salty seriously impressed me with their 24-0 win over a nice DADDY squad last time. Dtown, meanwhile, has fought their way back into the top 10 after a rough stretch. I'm not too impressed with that recent competition, though (solid wins, great D, but limited offense...and just not against great competition). Salty is not to be slept on.
Salty, 21-0
#5 Andes vs #7 Hollywood
Hollywood finally knocked Rappers out of the top 10 with last week's upset, and it's been a long time since they tasted a loss. Andes, meanwhile, have been bouncing around the 10 for a little while now, with impressive wins over Salty and Harrisonburg, among others. I think they have a speedbump this week, though.
Hollywood, 17-10
#7 LSP vs #12 San Francisco Montanas
Fun fact about San Fran - they were thrown together from essentially scraps around game 4-7 of the season (two of those scraps are mine). And they're #16 now, above so many of those teams some of us worked so hard over the offseason to put together...shows how useful planning and superstars are.
LSP, 31-10
#7 DD2 vs #11 Rapper's Delight
Pretty sure these guys all know what the other side is going to be running. Few surprises in this one, and I think it goes the way it normally does.
DD2, 21-17
#10 Hookers vs #13 DADDY
Hookers had a stumble against LSP last time, but that pass rush is still lethal, and DADDY QB has gone down 212 times already. That's more sacks than the Hookers have gotten all season. Lin and MckCringleberry will feast.
Hookers, 14-7
