duhh ...who me?!? ...LOL ...I rarely agree with anyone here ...and to use the words of a great musician I 'didn't start the fire'

Actually we have a pretty large group LE some just are not as vocal as myself and RK are. And that group is pretty much kept on the DL. There is a ton of threads laughing about you and your entourage in there

Except for 4-5 guys which pretty much everyone groups them in one and calls them village idiots, people don't get butthurt or get upset about what I say here. But yeah it's pretty enjoyable making fun of the whiners and crybabies which ironically is the reason what actually driven most posters out of this forum.
Really, I don't know what's funny, this or the delusional dolts that actually think they are well respected and have any credibility when in fact they are pretty much the laughing stock. I shouldn't have actually said this since "being delusional" was what made this really hilarious. Maybe there are some truth to it that's bothering them so much. Can't take the humor, don't read period.
I would absolutely agree. But the only problem is you just assume that anyone that disagrees with you is raging. When in fact they are most likely doing the same thing as you are..........having a little fun.........chuckles and giggles

Give the ball away on your own 20, whadya expect? Do it twice and it's suicide. Both championships were close until they gave the ball up, then watch the moral spiral and the defense start giving up plays. I'm sure it all ties in. I also noticed same gameplan again with no punter so I am sure they will fail yet again.
Yeah that is an opinion. And not saying it is wrong. It just seems like a waste of a position. The field position difference doesn't matter all that much other than when you are backed up (plus it is not that big........at least when you suck at building P and special teams like I do). And the risk of punt returns far out weighs the benefit IMO. So to create one position that is used maybe once or twice a game where the net result is 10-20 yards of field position seems like a waste (if only used when you are backed up). But you may be right. Those were big swings in the game and could have made a difference. I don't totally agree with that but it is possible.

I could probably go rewatch the games and point out the turning point and I believe there was another tourney you could of won but again going for it on 4th and ages around your own 20-30. Anyways, I tried the no punting thing and I believe the defense takes a big hit when you give the ball away deep in your own territory. Might be opinion based but I believe I could of proven my theory back a few seasons ago. There was always a huge difference when punting as opposed to not punting. You can get by vs teams that are not at the same level, but you put two very good teams at each other and one punts and the other doesnt and usually the punting team always comes out on top. Just an opinion from an amateur.

Just think of a person who likes to slam me, but never says anything original, but rather just likes to agree with what was already said...

We both know your opinion carries a little more than amateur status. My counter argument would be that in those situations had I punted then instead of getting the ball at the my twenty....they get it at my thirty or even better (as again my opinion is based on the assumption that the punter and punt team will not be very good). And in a perfect world I would like to have a punter in the playoffs (as they do get somewhat better at the higher levels) for those exact situations (4th and forever deep in my own territory). Only because the chance to get the first is virtually none and so what if they return the punt. When you go for it and miss they score anyway by being so close. So there is no real "harm" in punting. But to get that I have to give up a positional player for an entire season for those situations (4-8 in the playoffs). Seems like a lot to give up.
And how many punt returns did PNP or SBWL give up last season for TD's. (I have no clue....just asking). But I know the Bears gave up 0.
The real issue is building sucky punters and special teams then philosophy. If I could build those to where I had more trust then I would carry the punter. The truth is I am too damn lazy to try to figure those out since they don't really interest me at all.

It’s the punter now? That’s a lot of explanation and excuses but…
Fact 1: Epic OC still hasn't won anything on his own and will continue to be 2nd fiddle to Gerr. ( “2nd fiddle to Gerr” in itself deserves a laugh lol)
Fact 2: The irony of village idiots downplaying the game that is significantly part of their life.
I wish Bort put an average log-in time next to each agent's profile so they can see the reality
Fact 3: I repeat, winners don't whine or cry, only the losers.
Conclusion: Change your tampons, wipe your tears, and get yourself ready since the new season is about to start. Thanks for the good laugh guys!
