But I promise, I've lived in CA, from the east coast originally, etc. and there is no better place in the summer and fall than Seattle.

It's called the Emerald City for a reason, even if it takes 7 months of rain to make it "emerald" for 5.

I lived in HB for a few years, and although I can't complain about living 5 minutes from the beach, Seattle is still FTW in the summer.

Hey I live in OC right now too...grew up in South LA county/North OC. Haven't been to Seattle though. I love the summers down here except this past week has been way too hot.

Nah, not when you grew up in Seattle and are used to everything being green, and not some hazy shade of brown.

But, I will say that there is nothing better than waking up new years morning to 85 and sunny.

Plus, I worked in Cerritos and LA proper, so spent too much time in the lbc, carson, downy, compton, etc.

Long beach mostly. Went to college in Irvine and I'm living around Newport right now. Well my address is Newport but it's pretty much in Irvine.
