Theory of a deadman, musically, and marketing wise, are a 3rd rate nickelback. They simply tried to do what nickelback did, and couldn't do it. make sense?
as for nickelback being a 3rd rate pearl jam, i'd say it was the opposite. I understand pearl jam formed long before nickelback...regardless, nickelback did the formula correct. kind of like Green Day. they took what every crappy punk band from the 70's did, and made it more appealing, and better.
