i'm not saying my analogy is any better, but i think it's an accurate interpretation of what the GG crowd feels.

further, i'm not trying to promote a contest between analogies or narratives... my point remains that the positions are intractable, and thus should be structurally separated.

But that feeling can't be backed up with any evidence, as far as I'm aware. If I feel that bort raped my mother that doesn't mean he should be put in jail just because I feel that way.

Well I don't mean a forum where you can only say GG and shit.

Like, take SEAPL and make it our subforum. That's what I mean by this new subforum. Essentially a regular dotball talk forum where trolling would be discouraged by CPL mods, and CPL mods only.

I agree it would be a graveyard, but hey...some people think such places are fun.

i think we're on the same page, then...

although theoretically, the GG subforum could be policed by any mod. in fact, it would probably be best if non-CPL mods did the bulk of the policing.
