I live in Florida and have the pleasure of watching thunder storms ~60% of the year. They are truly God's instrument of choice. Couple that with sunsets that don't quit and I have to be pinched on a regular basis to be certain I'm not dreaming.

Salty played BSB closer than I figured they would. They performed better offensively than I would have thought.

We morale spiraled when leading, it's hilarious knowing there's a zero percent chance to win a game that you're ahead when there's almost half the game left to play. Morale is just a complete joke.

Or, you know, you played a team higher ranked than you. Not a reason at all why you lost. It happens. Looking for an excuse after a loss is natural but to say that's the only reason you lost is a little naive. Salty played well and lost to the best team in journey. Take the loss and move on.

I live in the wonderful area known as North Tampa. Great place to raise a family for now. Our homeless people sell newspapers!

When I go to the Bucs game I'm reminded of what is south of us. But again, the sunsets from Raymond James make everything look better.

Damn, Skippy really "peppered" your defense.

Seriously GG especially playing a tier up!

You know jfbueno, I almost never post here because its 90% trolling, but I like you and trolling you doesn't serve much purpose, I'll give you a real answer instead.

Never said I thought it was the only reason we lost, but sure, there could be an implication there. The truth is I didn't think we had a chance to win, and I know that we likely would have still lost if our morale had held up. I'm not looking to make excuses, I'm just blowing off steam about a bullshit mechanic and trolling a little. Good game, well played.

I think it's idiotic that a top team from a tier above should play teams in a tier below close at all period, there's way too much variance in this game, we shouldn't have even been in it to begin with. Games like this aren't fun for either side and I'd much have preferred to take on PORN (who also would have beaten us).

But if you put aside who owns the teams and what tiers they are, and look at my comment at face value, do you really disagree with it? Do you think it's good for GLB that a team that's leading on the scoreboard can instantly lose the game over the course of a couple plays when a morale spiral hits? Personally I'd rather see the opposite, that morale would have helped you guys come back against us earlier or help us come back in the 4th once you got ahead.

I respect this post and don't necessarily disagree with it. I've always been a little hesitant about playing up in tiers (or at the very least up more than 1 tier since good teams normally have a chance against teams a tier up, anything 2 tiers and up to me us just stupid and is probably 90% of the time an easy loss). Morale, and morale spirls in general, tends to be a fickle beast that is hard to predict.
