I would just like to say I had a defensive game plan in for that Empire game and it go changed by someone else on my team.... not the happiest right now.

Can you put a sim with us again Empire so I can see what we actually would've done if my playbook didn't get removed?

Top 3 seasoned teams have freaking insane ladder matchups this time

Some absolutely ridiculous matchups this week at the top.

#1 PORN vs Northwest Storms (professional)

PORN pulls off the most impressive seasoned ladder win of the season against hawaii in convincing fashion and what do they get as a prize? Why a matchup with the #8 Pro team! As much of a shock as it was to see PORN pretty much dominate hawaii if PORN somehow pulls this one out in any way then they're probably on another planet. AFAIK this is the first seasoned vs. pro ladder matchup of the season and it's not like PORN pulled a CPU pro team either. As much as I want to be a homer I can't pick PORN to win this one. Lucky for them the two teams below them have tall tasks ahead of them and could very well lose as well. Storms wins 38-14.

#2 No Name vs Hawaii Bulls (journeyman)

Poor No Name. PORN faced with the very real chance of losing their ladder match and they pull the team that PORN just shocked. You know The Boss has to be pissed losing to PORN, especially in that fashion. Boss is one of the better OCs out there and his team is always prepared to play. No Name has the tall task of trying to replicate the magic that PORN had against the Bulls but I think it's going to be difficult to do. No Name's S* HB will probably have a tough time getting anywhere against Hawaii's D and I can see Hawaii being able to move the ball. I was proven wrong in my PORN vs. Hawaii game last time but I'm probably a little more confident in this one. Hawaii wins 35-17.

#3 Salty Runback vs BSB (journeyman)

What's with these top matchups?!?!?! Salty has a chance to leapfrog the top 2 teams in the tier based on their matchups and Salty pulls the #1 journey team and quite frankly the best team in that tier by a decent margin. If Salty pulls this one off it would be more impressive than PORN beating Hawaii. I simply can't see Salty being able to contain the S* passing attack of BSB. WAYYYYYY too many weapons to contain for a team with a season worth of SP disadvantage. BSB wins 38-10.


#4 EEA 2.0 vs Canada Roughriders (journeyman)

Fairly good chance the 3 teams ahead of EEA lose this weekend and EEA has a cupcake journey team. EEA might jump 1 of the teams ahead of them but no way they go all the way to #1. EEA wins 38-14

#5 HAHA vs Tampa Piranhas (journeyman)

Good game here. Might be a fairly even match. Tampa lost to Salty earlier in the season and HAHA has been on form lately. I think either team can win but I like HAHA's momentum to carry them forward. HAHA wins 30-21.

#6 Bloody Slaughterhouse vs. Ann Arbor Wolverines(journeyman)

Another good matchup. Bloody is trying to get back in the top 5 and Ann Arbor poses a serious threat to that happening. Wolverines have been blown out in some of their games and probably gives me a little hesitance to pick them. Bloody has been fairly consistent this season and I think they'll pull it out. Bloody wins 28-17.

#7 Crystal Palace Eagles vs The Fish (journeyman)

Eagles are making quite a jump in the rankings this season and have been pretty impressive. They get rewarded with an easy win vs a bad journey team. Eagles win 38-6.

#8 ENMU Greyhounds vs Rock City Mayhem (journeyman)

Tough matchup here. ENMU has stayed in the top 10 almost all season and have an even matchup with Mayhem. This game could go either way but I'll take the seasoned team just because they're seasoned. ENMU wins 28-24.

#9 Virgins vs #19 Gliwice Lions

Two all run teams meet up. I'll go with Virgins here because they're the better team though not too much confidence in this pick. Virgins lost to GE of all people so they're prone to have stinkers here and there. Virgins win 28-10.

#10 HKD vs #18 Buffalo Bison

HKD should be able to handle this one. Don't see them losing. HKD wins 27-10.

I saw the matchup and thought we had the Seasoned version of NW Storms. Why name two teams the same thing?

Either way that is a huge SP difference to overcome. This is why seasoned sucks. But misery loves company and No Name and Salty will keep us company.

Just for reference, Central beat at least a couple Pro teams during Seasoned ladder (hard to tell 100% at this point which level some of them were). It's definitely possible if you draw the bad ones. Storms would be an impressive win for sure.

Makes it really hard when its a team like Northwest Storms with active coordinators, not really categorized in the bad Pro teams category.

edit.. EEA maybe got the best draw of the week, having the three teams in front of them likely taking a loss and getting a bad JMan team to beat up on.
