Holy sheep shit... I won against a bigger & higher rated Journeyman team... with a throwaway tactics/playbook set-up.

I like my past suggestion better.

In the last 2/3/4 Ladder games of the season, priority is given to the highest ranked team in tier you haven't played. It doesn't create a tournament. It just schedules missing opponents in tier.

That I'm fine with

No you don't. The first X number of ladder games in the season would be used for seeding and/or making the tournament.

Then the tournament would take precedence over the ladder. Don't think you have much middle ground there.

It would be a ladder/tournament combo. Both would play a part.

Whoah, actually beat a semi-decent journeyman team. My guys were looking like the faster team even.

Omaha actually looked faster with duro not signing on for several days. Hope he's ok. I don't think he's assigned points since the big sp spike.

I guess that confirms he wasn't your multi after all

We seem to have 2 good games coming up with our 1st Seasoned league.

#5 Bloody vs #7 Tosche
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/201807

Classicly solid Bloody vs the upstart Tosche with new defensive pieces and a new DC. That's about all I Know of Tosche, other than I think it's a Star Wars reference.

#8 Crystal Palace Eagles vs #16 Gliwice Lions
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/201810

I don't really know anything about these teams. Eagles are brand new to our tier, makeshift roster of folded teams, and while they started off 3-5, their chemistry is now 90ish and have ripped off a 12 game winning streak. Gliwice used to be ranked in the 30's-40's the past two seasons, but seems to have figured something out and is now higher. I can't even tell you if these teams are all run or all pass or an even split or what.

No Name vs Sharks should be a good one in Saladin.

Well Bloody just manhandled Tosche. Tosche have a ways to go to get that offense of theirs to work. Way too many negative plays.

Didn't realize Gliwice was pure run, the Eagles shut that down. Gliwice's playbook seems really weird. QB Slams and what not. Eagles ran the ball 27 times yet had only 1.7 ypc, ouch.

What the hell...Middle Overload on 3rd and 10? What is going on in Marvin-land?

Marvin tactics are some of the worst tactics I've seen on GLB2. At least defensively.

His tactics have always been wacky. I don't think he ever changes them.

We either have success running or not. Mainly as my eagles playbook hasn't changed once all year, so I don't look for any weaknesses. It's just a playbook that should do decent whatever defender it comes up against.
