...on a team that is ENTIRELY built around running the ball. That's like taking O-linemen and making them into WRs so that you can have better blocking when running to the outside. In real life, teams would adjust and easily dominate such one-dimensional teams, but in GLB that is impossible. It's just abusing a flaw in the game itself.

That's not to say it isn't a great accomplishment, since everyone that plays GLB could have exploited that flaw but these guys are doing it the best. However, you can only compare him to HBs who are on similar, completely one-dimensional teams. Anything else is comparing apples and oranges.

If you live in the "reality" of what they do, they run that gameplan. And teams are more than welcome to gameplan for it since they know it. And DESPITE THAT, Tea still puts up numbers, and against what one can assume are some of the best Defenses in the game. That's the mark of a real pro IMO.

However, you can only compare him to HBs who are on similar, completely one-dimensional teams. Anything else is comparing apples and oranges.

This is basically what I'm trying to say in a nicer way. He's on a team who's built completely around the run, and you guys never pass it. You guys just care about your star player putting up stats that your team suffers.

With the way the game is right now, it's just not possible to gameplan vs. him and defeat him, unless you want to lose to every other team on your schedule. You'll have to make serious build modifications that just aren't possible (I doubt even switching around full pieces of equipment would work).

It's a great accomplishment to identify such a weakness in the game and to exploit it (which is what every GLB team is doing, constantly), but that does not imply that Tea Baggins is a better HB than someone else. So, in my opinion, this thread should be "Cobra Kai is the best rushing team in GLB", which the facts support (and I doubt people would dispute that). If you put a guy like Justin Fargas on a team with OTs as WRs/TEs (and assuming that the could block DBs successfully like in GLB) and the best run-blocking O-line in the history of football, if he got 2k yards and AP got 1500, that doesn't mean Fargas is better than AP.

That is a good Argument tho. If you are one dimensional of course your going to get superior stats in that dimension. Of course i think Tea is a superb player anyway, but your assesment was accurate.
