"Because it was a waste of time and convoluted. It's a football RPG, not a forum suspension adventure game, having the most intricate, in-depth forum suspension process on the internet isn't really needed. The one or two people that get suspended in a week can contact support (or, alternatively, wait two days like an adult)."

Is the next WG game a forum suspension adventure game? Is that game in the works? If not, can I have the rights?

No, you spend flex to buy votes to get your appeals upheld. Every time you get banned, but overturn the ban, you earn points. Creating a new thread costs you points. Starting a thread that gets closed by downvotes costs you double points. Starting a thread that starts a flame war that results in a suspension earns you points. Starting a thread that gets multiple people banned earns you lots of points. Starting a thread that gets enough upvotes that it becomes "unlockable" gives you so many points. Starting a thread that causes a mod to quit or lose their mod position makes you a mod. You can also become a mod by being in the top 10% of point earners.

Mods earn points by locking threads and banning people. If the threads are unlocked by a higher ranking mod or by an Admin, that mod loses points. If the mod bans people and the bans are overturned, the mod loses points. If the mod loses enough points, they are publicly stripped of their modship and their points are halved.

When a mod earns enough points in a certain forum, they become a lead mod for that forum. These mods have the power to overturn locks on posts in that forum and to schedule a public appeal on bans occuring within that forum. If they earn a lot of points over two or three forums, they earn a lead mod position. This gives them the powers of a lead forum mod over all forums. Only an Admin or a jury of 12 randomly selected active users can overturn the decisions of a lead mod.

No ALGs. ALGs make it so that people don't flame hard at the start of their career so that they can flame super hard at the end. Instead, everything is based on the fame system, forum points, and in game "cash" used to build alliances.

At first, you are an independent. Once you have earned enough fame, you can join one of the groups (trolls, P&R Strawmen, ModWorship, ForeignLanguage, YelloSuggestionsPosters etc.). Joining one of these groups earns you in game cash. If you have enough fame, you can break away and start your own group, but your cash reserves will get depleted if you recruit too many agents or agents with a lot of fame. The more fame you have, the harder it is to lock a thread you started or hide a post you make.

CPU agents will exist in the game that you can recruit. They will come into threads that you started and upvote or downvote the way that you do. They will also sometimes quote your threads and add an innane comment or a +1. They aren't that good though, and a successful "call-out" of a CPU agent will eliminate that CPU agent from the game and cost you points. A failed call-out will result in losing points and can lead to a forum ban if done too often. This can lead to agents who pretend to be CPU agents just to fuck with people.

Obviously multi-hunting will not be frowned upon, but will be an integral part of the game. Leading a successful multi-witchhunt is a great way to earn fame and flex. Leading a failed witchhunt will lead to bans and can cause you to lose forum cred and fame.

Successfully hiding as a multi and posting in forums is not punished, but is rather rewarded.

This is very in depth.

Alrighty car guys, another question. Got the 4wd fixed today and it worked when I was in the lot at the dealership. I get home and try to throw it into 4hi before going in to my driveway cuz it's still ice and snow. It blinks at me like it used to then kicks back into 2 without even feeling like anything happened.

Heres the kicker: 4 lo works just fine.

That sounds like an electrical problem right?

As long as they keep offering to check everything and fix everything for free I'll keep it. They slipped a little clause in the contact that says I owe them $50 a day and 50c a mile if I cancel the contract, and I'm unsure if they'd argue that point. If I can give it back for free I probably will

I would. it's just too much gone wrong and I wouldn't be able to trust it or them if it were me. if its possible to walk away from it scot free I'd take it. if you yell loud enough they'll cave from the sounds of things.

They might be a little more reluctant to take it back fully. The reason they're doing all this in the first place is that the last person who had it returned it after 11 days due to 4wd problems. They claimed they fixed it. If I return it, that'll show them as knowingly selling a broken vehicle twice which will be a nice black mark on their record. Any further bs with the car though and I'm taking it right back and they can live with the black mark

food poisoning sucks.

every Sat i take my dog to the park and our ritual is to stop at the gas station and get a red bull and some beef jerky. I always get the "loose" beef jerky that is sitting in the bin by the register, its the best. So a few hours later my dog start going nuts. he runs to the door dry heaving and choking, so i let him outside and he pukes his brains out. he just couldnt stop coughing and dry heaving, my wife and i were worried enough that i put him in my truck and took him to the only 24 hr vet i know of. of course when we get there we find out the whole thing is closed down. by this time my dog has kinda calmed down a little, so we decide to just watch him and reevaluate in the morning. right about this time my stomach starts to hurt. it started out just bubble guts and gas, but then the diarrhea started. i mean explosive. horrible. then i started to get hot flashes and the puking strted. i basically passed out on the bathroom floor it was so bad. so for the past 15 hrs every time i even drink some water, 15 mins later its in the toilet(one way or another). my wife didnt get any symptoms so i guess it had to be the beef \jerky. and it had to be PRETTY bad to get my dog sick(he is 80 lbs)

im so weak now..........

That sucks mate. Stay hydrated obviously, and eat some ginger if you have some. It may not always prevent you actually puking (it will sometimes) but it'll drop the nauseous feeling down to bearable levels.

Yeah, food poisoning is the worst.

It's basically 24 hours of thinking you are going to die.

The one time I had it, I puked every 15 minutes for 24 hours. If I did much in the way of moving during that 15 minutes, I puked. Then the runs started.

Car update numero tres:

Recap: 4wd didnt work when bought even though the sales and inspection document said it did. Pointed that out to them, they offered to fix it for free so I didn't return the car or file with the BBB, not that I was originally planning to. They half-fixed it, 4-lo works, 4-hi (the one I use most) doesn't.

Today: I went in for the second free fix to completely fix it. After about an hour I get some new mechanic asking me to come to the back, asking me what I wanted done. It took them an hour to do that. He said it would be $114.50 to just inspect it and figure out what they fucked up, and if it was the transfer case motor (which they were supposed to have replaced in the first place) it'd be an additional 'roughly $200'. After arguing with them, I realized the only phrase of english he knew was 'the car was sold as is'. Now I have two issues with that. First, I don't have the money for this shit, I had to get a loan for the car in the first place, and the reason I bought it was that it has 4wd. The reason I bought the car is not functional. Second, I bought it as-is according to their inspection.

Their contract states, verbatim "Any terms not explicitly in writing are not legally binding (implication being that terms in it are legally binding) ... This inspection is certified to be an accurate representation of any and all mechanical and cosmetic defects both corrected and uncorrected at xxxxx dealership" and the 4wd is given a clean pass with no notation. The lady who bought this car before me returned it, citing the lack of operational 4wd.

Now, they're trying to make me pay $50 a day ($1650) and 50 cents a mile (just under $500) to return it to them, citing me cancelling the contract, which was the agreed upon penalty. I'm contending that the entire contract is voided, not cancelled, by them selling me a broken car, one they accepted fault for, without noting said brokenness in the contract.

If they don't work with me, I'm gunna have to take it to court. That's expensive and time consuming. I'm definitely reporting them to the BBB, but court is a whole different thing. It's not a minor claim either, in total it is just over $7,000, the full value I paid for the car, not even mentioning the new battery, spare tire, and jack I bought and put in. If I take it to court, what are my chances of winning? I think I have a damn good case, but I also see them dragging it out in court to make me lose as much money as possible so I drop the claim and cut my losses.

Thoughts, GD?

tl;dr Never trust someone whose job it is to sell you something

so fcked. it will cost you more money than its worth. does the car run fine, other than the 4wd? you are in a shitty spot, if you had plenty of money you could win your case, but if you had plenty of moeny you would have bought a better car.

just perpetuating the cycle........
