To me, a rogue mod should be dealt with by the administration. Otherwise, why do they wear the tag of administrator?

Agreed. Harper's schtick is old and inciteful. He should be publicly silent until the whole situation is sorted out. Privately, between mods and his team, let him be as loud and as boisterous as he wishes to be. Publicly, though, he should not be making inciteful comments about the situation.

Jesus never wrote excuses for his losses stating that he "didn't really care."

You not being around is fine... but dodging the questions on TH really isn't helping things... I guess all I really want to know is if you think he acted accordingly or not... Its quite simple.

It seems like this is where the line has been drawn.

Right, Wrong, or Indifferent, the statement "Perception is Reality" holds true here as well.

Those directly involved know many more details of what really happened, however everyone that is now reading this is forming opinions on what they perceived happened.....

It is Perceived that:
A) A mod abused his power
b) A mod has caused many popular players to consider leaving the game
c) Management has done nothing about it
d) The lack of response from management indicates that this individual is more important than customers.



The Reality of the situation is now more and more people want to know:
A) what is going on
B) why nothing has been done and if the most popular players are willing to leave over the issue, then they may consider it as well.

The longer this goes, the more people will be reading it, forming their opinions, and whether they have spent a little or a lot, they will be forming an opinion as to whether to spend anymore money based on managements ability to control situations like these.

I'm not spending any money on this game either way. I love it to death but I've lost all respect for Bort from the way he has handled this. It shouldn't take two days and a threat to stop paying for FP to pay attention to the situation. It should have been the simple fact that Harper crossed the line in many ways both as a moderator and as a regular player.

Tyrant.. you've got to cut Bort some slack here, mate... I'm sure he's working on some major in-game stuff and this Harper BS has come flying in from the side at 100 miles per hour..

the guys not God for chrissakes... and it doesnt help that a few guys are throwing around BS that he's called them out for...

What do you see? Your home page? No. You see a user, meaning there are more then 200 thousand users. This is a massive community and whether or not those 200 thousand users are active or not, that is still the size of his database. Slow solutions are no longer solutions and I have no sympathy especially since he still decides to get volunteer mods and then not provide a fallback for when things go wrong. Not to mention: Thord, Blaine, and DD.

The owner of the site should acknowledge his buyers of the mishaps and pursue a quick solution or else people will begin to lose faith in the game and the system as we've seen so far. I'm not questioning your ways Bort and I don't want you to fix everything in 5 minutes but this TH crap needs to be resolved quick and I feel that'll bring some stability in GLB.

Not Valid....your mods represent you. If when you are not around, which is fine, there is no one that can effectively handle situations like this immediately, then that is something else that needs addressed.
