nothing personal, you do what you have to do to win. Don't know why Borf let this season "cheese" AI exist and be used. To discover what? That is an instant win for a team that is build for this ?

Ken, you just got to let the "cheese" thing go. Everyone has had a chance to build for it. This is the second go round of players since the crash so you've had a chance. 3rd generation players are a season away.

Granite and Philly took advantage early on winning 5 straight titles. Why, because we built players as we did before the crash and we didn't go early boost crazy like a lot of agents and teams did.

Drew took notice with Bier and Warsaw and built better players, at least I'm assuming they're better players because I haven't seen but a couple of his builds on other teams. Game planning is a lot easier when all the players are on the same page so to speak with tactics, SA's, Vet points and Advanced Equipment all geared towards a common goal.

Teams are throwing the ball more than in the past. With the last 4 teams standing, we have Arditi and Bier ..... yes Bier who both have PASSED the ball more than they have run it. While the other two, Las Spezia and Philly have ran the ball more than passing. More teams have a chance to win, but it takes effort and building players that work together and a lot of luck.

Also the "morally right" comment??

Last time I checked we're playing a game and as Herm Edwards would say "Hello?! You play to win the Game!"

If Ole Miss can't stop Georgia from running the ball today, do you think Georgia is going to quit running the ball? Nope, they're going to run it down their throats.

Kens has a point. It’s killing casual…no one enjoys it. 6 going on 7 straight titles isn’t fun. Building for it or not. Teams are leaving, and it’s crazy a few of you are okay with it. Enjoy playing against CPU teams.

Casual used to be fairly diverse. All passing teams have won gold, all rushing teams, and balanced.

Cheesy is a great way to put it. Fucking lame is another.

I don't think regular leagues are much better these days with The Mob dominating and winning everything

And if in case anyone is wondering I've only used the "cheese " twice all season. Once with Granite (league game loss) and once with Philly (private scrim loss) who I coordinate the offense. 0-2 using Ken's so called "Cheese".

It seems that from 4 semi final teams only one (Arditi) used a preset without double runs that passes. Three of the four had less than 20 pass attempts and more than 40 run attempts. Old cheese, new cheese 🧀 don’t care all I know is that this crap is killing casual.

Agreed with some arguments above, didn’t have time to respond during the weekend but will talk later. I love this league but don’t see any future. 20 seasons later Bier will play Frenzy in the final in a league with 4-5 cpu.

Sure, everyone can use this dominant AI and has a chance to win BUT... like a said some teams (insert SCK here)have a good O-lIne but use it in pass blocking focus with special VAs because they want to pass the ball. Running the ball 60 times almost every game is boring and killing the game.

No need to build QB and WRs throwing away flex just to run the ball most of the times. You can check my builds in SCK to see yourself VAs and this stuff.I hear your argument about pass game and pick but if you protect your QB (and has a good build) you can survive (see Arditi this season). But in the end, when playoffs come, full run "cheese" wins everything (see playoff semifinals).

Bier is not dominant because only use this AI. Drew build good dots, especially run blocking O-Linemen. Can pass the ball too but when game is on the line, everyone turns to run game. Against Arditi they had 42 runs and just 19 pass play (8 short / 11 medium). From them only 3 to WRs, 2 to HB (screens), 3 to FB and the most to TEs. I suppose in the final the one with most runs will win.

Let's see what Warthogs can do next season, is my only hope.

Something isn't right in either leagues, tbh.

but again, no one is advocating for change. Hopefully once you're on the top of the Casual mountain, you will be ready to let the Ryan preset's go.
