Rushed for 2 TDs and a grueling 127.5 yards on the ground as DE... Eagles DE (real creative naming there) caused 2 Fumbles on 2 sacks which added to the 2 INTs that QB Jupiter Optimus Drusus threw into that blinding snow storm sealed the deal for the Screamers.
Gridiron Goolies squeak past Deadman Awakening 17-12.
The Goolies pump out 10 in the first half and add another 7 in the third before the Deadman Awakens for the comeback attempt. Unfortunately for the Deadman their comeback fell short finally scoring a touchdown with only 2 minutes left after managing 2 FGs prior. They did get a chance to shut down the Goolies' offense in the 4th but it was just not enough time to deal with them and the weather. QB Osiris D. Minton failed on a 2 point conversion because he threw to a completely covered WR1 Garrison Marin over a crowded middle rather than the TE Jesse Bryant who was just breaking open to the far corner of the end-zone when he made his hasty decision. Some have called for a points shaving investigation over the matter.
