Bravo to bort and corndog for truly listening to us. The way I read the cha gel OG was a large portion of what we have all asked for and seems to be small adjustments that could help and not kill the game.

Now time to find out

If the games I've seen so far since the changes mean anything, elusive running is dead.

I've not watched any games but what do you mean? Looking at the Changelog there's only adjustments to Juke... did it get broken worse?

It's been pretty bad so far. Not a fan of lessening the step back.

And PA is dead outside of any team not built for it, good for us I guess, bad for everyone else.

Maybe its just a small sample of gmaes or weather, but elusive seems weaker

"Reduced y strength on avoidance vector when breaking tackles with elusiveness, to give the movement a bit more of a sidestepping motion"
^
Not sure if that impacts rolls, or just how we view the action

My guys who were breaking 7-15 are now lucky to break 1, defensive linemen and linebackers are much more effective at getting off blocks and holes are closing on elusive guys instantly.

Blocks are just evaporating everywhere though and that only favors power runner in allowing the blocker to move on upfield if they break a tackle, and since elusives can’t break them anymore they are done.

Where in the changes were there changes to blocking?

I played 3 games w/ swat and it didn't fire once with 97 deflect so not sure it's worth the investment, happy to see we got some changes and new SAs though.

Not sure, but it’s happening. Nothing that was changed should be making elusive guys unable to break tackles either, supposedly just change how they react to breaking one - and yet they just can’t break a tackle anymore. Sometimes things they do break other things, and it seems like defenders can react instantly now after a ‘bounce’ in the blocking interaction and the offensive linemen is still stunned from the impact - even if the o-linemen instigated the push. It used to stun the defender a little bit, though it always did effect o linemen more which is why power blocking is entirely unusable. Even tech blocks sometimes get a little separation and reconnect going on, and now it seems like defenders just aren’t fazed in that moment anymore so it’s free game to just tackle the back in that one instant.

On 3rd/4th and Long the chances of it succeeding has been dramatically reduced.

Oh my god, you have to run multiple plays now lol. There is no doubt there were major issues with PA. They are still good plays but are not supposed to work 60% of the time and especially not when teams would just run them 3-5times without another type of play in between.

I am a fan of lessening PA effect on 3rd and 4th and long...thats much more realistic

I'd guess the same observational biases that decided Juke was completely broken and needed fixed after 40 seasons of it mostly working fine and going untouched.

The PA changes are great and more in line on how they should be called, thank you for the fix. Should make it easier for those teams that struggled against those being spammed.

Juke looks less powerful now but you can clearly see it stunning a single defender and spin is stunning small groups.
