And this goes to the heart of the problem. There is no way to put the suggested SP into all these skills recommended. Conditioning, Tackling....then Power Tackling.....Grip.....oh wait Powerbacks have lots of speed so you need a ton of Sprinting.......hmm, don't forget toughness....pursuit.....Heart is essential now. We haven't even touched on skills for pass coverage, lol.

The whole problem goes back to RBs only needing 3 main skills. Acceleration should be moved to quickness, and Sprinting should be Top speed only. Power Running is OP because the BT roll doesn't rely on balance/toughness/intimidation enough. I like that they added Elusive/footwork for indirect hits...but it doesn't seem strong enough. Power rushers should have the wear and tear on their conditioning that we see it at other positions, like a lineman getting caked.

That is where zone comes into play.

You don't need a ton of speed on most positions in a zone defense.

Has there been any team that plays 100% zone at the Vet level? Zone is much better vs the run.

What strikes me about this build the most is the balance/toughness caps. If 90+ balance/toughness was needed for these super BTs, then builders would have to allocate their attributes differently.

I've never understood why balance isn't a key skill for breaking tackles. That should be the second most important skill to power rushing for breaking tackles. If I remember correctly, balance isn't needed at all or very little for a power rusher.

We used to think balance was very important, but now its obvious you can easily get away with less than 40 and be elite. If my old S* rushing FB had 90+ conditioning instead of 90 balance that team would have done a lot better...

How hard would it be for them to just revamp how all these skills work and what they are used for?

I still think the easiest fix is to put a soft cap on conditioning where after a certain point you get very diminishing returns so the point of such high conditioning isn't practical. Force guys to have to sub out of the game because fatigue would still be a factor even at high levels.

This really is the easiest solution. Most people are upset with high conditioning running backs but find it hard to fit it into their builds. Rbs have an easy time fitting it in. Who is it going to affect more if they had a soft cap? The ones that actually take it up that high...
