Did you honestly in your warped logic think anybody would "take it easy" on the computer to simulate realism? I want realism as much as you but I as well as everyone else around here are not going to curtail my playing ability because the CPU is stupid. I'd rather it be an uphill struggle regardless of what I do which is why I suggested bumping the sliders up to make it more of a challenge.

It's not the speed that got my 500+ yards though it does help some. It has more to do with finding good run plays that the CPU struggles to stop. Some of them require speed (which Bell isn't even known for) and other require a good OL (which the Steelers have).

If that's the case then we're probably good. I mean the fact that i'm putting up shit running totals and you are putting up monster totals says something about the sliders. I mean in my mind the running is way too hard. CPU or myself can't run for shit but if you guys are busting off a ton of rushing yards then we're probably good for human at least.

BTW is accel clock broken for human vs human?! That's some bullshit.

I prefer 15minutes 15 accel clock normally. That would be brutal if accel clock is fucked.

15 min Qs with 15 accel?!?! You prefer 2+ hour games?! Ain't nobody got time for that

it's not broken... people have personal settings for where they like accel clock (I like 13 seconds myself), so EA decided to do none and just have really short quarters (4 or 5 min) for online H2H. Personally in this league I'd like a min or two longer than we have per quarter, but a 13 or 14 for accel clock instead of 20, but I understand why we have the settings we do.

There. Pulled even better numbers, against a better CPU team, without going for it on 4th. Enough with the bitching about playing "fair" against the CPU

feel amazing about yourself for putting up consecutive 70 point games? Other than your running, you're clearly spamming streaks and aggressive catch vs the CPU when you actually do throw and have been the last 6 games or so... Stevie Wonder can see that

you're THE prime example of why people don't like to play in online leagues

Yeah because you know exactly how I play, right? Reserve judgment to whenever we play. Like I said earlier I'm not spamming plays but think whatever you want. There's a reason pretty much nobody in this game likes you. You're a HUGE asshole who rubs people the wrong way. If I had known you were in this league before I joined I probably would have walked away just to avoid the inevitable headache of dealing with your pompous douchebag mouth.

It's not 2 hours at all. It's how i play all of my other games and it goes fairly quick.

Stop trying to be a know it all ya fuckin nerd. lol

Passing is good on both sides. Running is really hard for both sides. I think run blocking needs to be upped for Human and CPU. Maybe it's just me though but idk how i can be that much worse at running than everyone else.

10 carries 19 yards for Adrian and EVERY hand off there is a defender in the backfield.

Other than that things seem good. It's for sure a lot harder to score for me. All FG game until CPU hit a long bomb w/ 30 seconds to win. Raiders had wide open players a lot. I had very few. lol


I agree, rushing is tough, but I was able to put up about 75 on 25-30 carries (not great but realistic) then I see diddy and bueno each put up like 350+ rushing yards lol. Idk what exactly to do to fix it anymore, seems the issue now is just a few people are really good at beating the cpu on outside runs

Jbueno had a good idea of posting our league onto Madden Reddit in the offseason. Snag a few more players and give hard deadlines to complete games.

To be fair these types of runs aren't going to work every time vs human players. They just take advantage of poor playcalling and lack of defensive adjustments by the CPU. Granted I'd consider myself fairly good at running in past maddens but I'm not going to be running for 300+ against an actual player. You need balance to throw people off from teeing off on certain plays.

well regardless i thought about it and i felt like the AI just wasnt up to par. i changed it up to all madden and set up a mix of this guys "green" and "red" settings of his all madden realism sliders. should make the CPU offense AI and the CPU run defense AI much more realistic and challenging rather than try to put band aids on the flaws in all pro setup
