GE's Zone losing to Seattle shouldn't be unexpected.
Seattle Supersonics passing plays in 3 WR sets were the default ones that should wreck Cover 2's. That's why Seattle had more success than you'd expect with a lot of SP spent on blocking skills as well playing a tier up. And their passing offense could have been even better if not for some drop rolls.
GE's passing defense is all Cover 2. Cover 2 has it's uses, and Cover 2 Sink is a great play, but not against TE Drive or WR3 and WR2 in TE Post. The WR3 route in TE Post will annihilate any Cover 2. In the NFL, even if the FS guesses the route as quickly as possible he isn't expected to be able to make a play on that route, not unless they've got insane speed.
