Corndog must just not care about GLB2 anymore. He has had 41 minutes to make these changes today according to the GLB clock and we haven't seen anything. It's almost like he is sleeping on the job or something

And here are the changes.....nice work Cdog

Website Stuff
- Changed the way block power and block technique costs scale
-- Now cheaper at lower levels but escalate more quickly than other skills
- Default tactics used in games should show in the history now
- Added knocked loose to player stats page
- Depth chart updated to have 4-4 big and 5-2
- Fixed Leadership in "All Skill" traits
- Fixed play count on player stats page

Sim Stuff
- Morale now starts at and gravitates towards 50
- Weighted break block skills a little toward the defense
- Pass consistency checks a little harder (more hurry effect)
- Pocket awareness checks a little harder (more likely to take sack)
- Possible miss radius on bad passes increased
- Low quality (wobbly) passes a little harder to catch
- Deflecting a little more likely to affect catch chance, base value weighted a little higher in general

Will the blk power and tech changes be retroactive? Or will just new dots created after the update be effected?

Deflection change - love it.
Wobbly passes harder to catch - hooray!
More sailed overthrow misses - shoot me in the face.

On the whole, fan of the changes other than more straight misthrows. They're already my least favorite aspect of the passing game. Now they're going to be more annoying?

Morale change scares me a bit, also worried how these affect teams without a s* qb and s* wrs (biggest problem with pass defense is super heavy s* passing teams, see air raid with 5 s* receivers and s* qb) feel this hits teams who arent running s* harder than teams with s* which is the big issue.

? Superstars had the edge before and still have the edge now. Why did anything change there?^^

It's what I've been preaching. Balanced O just got buffed - Pure O just got nerfed.

- Depth chart updated to have 4-4 big and 5-2

Awesome. I just logged into Depth Charts was like wow!

- Morale now starts at and gravitates towards 50

Will be interesting to see how this works. My S* QB Heart investment may pay dividends. But who knows.

- Weighted break block skills a little toward the defense

A buff for the DLine. It's clear - the game is moving more towards Balanced O.

- Pass consistency checks a little harder (more hurry effect)
- Pocket awareness checks a little harder (more likely to take sack)

Excellent for Blitzing. Combined with the OLine changes this is going to get interesting and Pass Consistency is going to become a vital QB skill (as well as Heart I believe).

- Possible miss radius on bad passes increased

Hopefully this brings down Long Pass % completion more than Short.

- Low quality (wobbly) passes a little harder to catch

QB Pass Power now more important. Can't just be an Accuracy maven.

- Deflecting a little more likely to affect catch chance, base value weighted a little higher in general

Another Pure Pass nerf. Last off-season was Run nerf and now the Pass nerf.

Conclusions:

Pure O is definitely taking a hit here and it's clear the game designers want more Balanced O. The changes to OLine blocking costs are exactly how to facilitate this combined with more QB pressure from Blitzing and lower catch %.

The problem is that s* have more points than normal guys to combat nerfs, to put it this way the power scale of a s* to a normal guys is 2-1 im worried these changes turn it to more like 1.8 to .5 where teams who arent running superstars are going to get hit harder by the passing nerfs (which non s* teams were not the issue) and s* will barely feel it which means in order to run a passing game you will have to be running s*.

I feel like all it really did was lower the maximum cap O linemen can take their blocking skills to. The current teams will feel the effects for sure, but future teams will just readjust how they build players and can still focus on one aspect of the game.

Pure O will always have an advantage over Balanced O. However, that advantage has grown significantly smaller.

Aww they nerfed pass velocity, this is either a nerf to pass power or a buff but either way im sad that i wont get to see as much zip on my test rat.
