totally agree on nearly all points you made. also about the buff other QB runs. but tge solution should only be a momenrum fix to stop the exploit. After that it just needs a buff to the defense rather than nerfing the play

I just posted the team data for fun. I don't think we have enough data points to draw real conclusions for all the reasons I've stated. Stobie is looking at it from a macro perspective, which is fine, I just think it needs to be weighted by the capability of the defense for the defense play called to have more meaning as to the effectiveness of the GL QB Rollout. At least with the first set of data, people can see (as you've been saying for a while now) what plays are effective in stopping it. Which again depends on the defense dots having adequate skills to do so as well.

I wonder how many big yardage gains on QB Roll out include a broken tackle compared to every other run play in the game? like a 5% vs 75?

Iotb I had no reason to store lolbar values for scouting purpose as they are not accurate enough and only can be obtained by matchup screens.

Lolbars are extremely useless as it is just your default depth chart. It doesn't factor in anything of relevance at all.

I could store number of missed tackles per play. Might be a good metric to have. Would have to rerun all to get that. Hurries is another thing I would have to add. It's a string find rather than attribute given by GLB code

In addition teams with 2qb passing bars are higher than ones with 1. Doesn't mean more effective.

I don't know of another play in the book I can't stop using a couple different plays in the playbook. But I'll be home in an hour to set up for whatever play he thinks works anywhere near as well as the 2 gl plays.
