Buzz picks for Week 12
Columbus Brownies over Tennessee Scorpions, 17-10
After 4 easy wins in a row, the Scorpions finally have a formidable opponent this week. I expect Columbus to win this but not without some effort. The Scorpions would love to have this one to get them in a more favorable position come playoff time. Should be a good one to watch.
Da Shockas over Las Vegas Knights27-10
2nd best matchup of the week. The Knights lead the league with sacks at 84. That pass rush will be needed to keep this one close going up against the #1 offense who have shown they can do it all. The Knights will probably want to scout the Brownies game, the only team that has kept them under 200 yards in total offense. But I'm not sure Las Vegas has the personnel to make it happen.
Border Reivers over NY Red Bulls, 20-3
Reivers hope to extend their winning streak in what should be their game to lose. The Red Bulls have struggled against the better teams this season and it doesn't help when some of your skill positions are extremely inactive, including the owner.
The Other Guys over Gongguan Hoho Monster, 54-3
TOG continues to dominate the Western Conference. With a defense that give up, on average, less than 100 yards a game, they continue to stay un-beaten. GHM will need to be very creative just to keep from being embarrassed in this one. Interesting side note: TOG has 3 dots in 3 different categories leading the MVP race.
Congrats to Tennessee Scorpions and Border Reivers for making it to the semi-finals in the Tournament.
