- Catching attribute now more important in INT catch chance

So it went from a total waste to almost a total waste, u need to be able to cover WRs to get INTs in the first place, catching is not worth it. Anything that makes u better at coverage or tackling is > catching.

i can attest to it still being crappy. my lvl 79 CB in WEPL has over 70 catching and has yet to get a pick. *le sigh*

But it's in the changelog, as more important ...

Sure, it's in the changelog... but if you watch high catching defenders in the sim it still appears as if investing in catching is a waste as it seems to have very little effect on the number of int's you catch in a season.

Is it worth spending ~30 Sp's to catch one extra interception a season? Many dots with high catching aren't even doing that. The points are better spent on making sure your dot is excellent in coverage, every now and then he'll catch an interception and fall down.

Since all three were built for speed in either starting or slot CB roles, all have decent speed (taken to the 9 to 1 cap early). Hjørne Tilbake is the only one with Tackling below 20 (and has missed 15 tackles in 417 plays)... Wilson Henley and Sterk Hjørnet both have tackling above 40 (Wilson has missed 6 in 439 plays, Sterk has missed 2 in 417 plays). And all have been around as long as this thread (created on season 24 day 41... before the start of this thread... so I built them my way from the start. And all are as good as any player most of you guys have made at the same stage in his career.

here are the two that I am still using:

http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k481/einar_90808/wilson139.png
Level: 44/48
Player Value: 777.54 (17.67 per level)
Overall: 48
Pass Defense: 63
Tackling: 51

http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k481/einar_90808/til139.png
Level: 49/52
Player Value: 823.44 (16.8 per level)
Overall: 54
Pass Defense: 66
Tackling: 48

and Roy's at the same age:

http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k481/einar_90808/Ty139.png
Level: 49/55
Player Value: 865.64 (17.66 per level)
Overall: 48
Pass Defense: 66
Tackling: 39

So how do mine rate?
Level: one is 5 levels lower, the other equal level. Effective level is slightly lower then Roy's
Player Value: slightly lower, however Player Value per level is very close on all three players.
Overall lol bar: Wilson is equal to Ty... Tilbake is better.
Pass Defense: Tilbake is as good as Ty, Wilson is almost as good in spite of the fact that he is 5 levels lower.
Tackling: both my guys are better. Period.

Again... I started building these guys my way before this thread started. Both are as good as Roy's CB was at the same age (to the day)... Were they built the same way I built the ST CB? No... they are not ST CBs... they are Man Specialists. Point being, the CBs I build are all very good at what they are built to do inn spite of the fact that I do not build them the same way other people do... so as I said from the begining there is more then one way to build good dots.

We've been over this. If you add sp into tkl before your main atts are done, you'll end up like our other dots... Retired. On the team my cb is on, my cb has the best pd-catch allowed ratio. He doesn't have the best lolbar or sp value. But he's built almost the same as the others besides very little diffrance like one has one point more in agi, another has more tkl/str. (Done after his mains where done fyi)

+14 EL and 2nd in PD's playing in elite league while giving up less than 33% receptions per attempt. Tackling bar means nothing on CB's when pass defense is top priority. He's at 63 tackling already with ALG's still bringing it up while I now work on training his strength since he gets no ALG's from it. Like Drizzy says you need to work up majors 1st then work secondary attributes after to make a good dot through its entire career.

my guys Pass D rating is as good as your guy's... the only difference is my dot is better at other things. I guess that is why he is still playing, and will be as long as I can afford to boost him.
