As far as derailing your defense for 400+ outside of those screens...and lets be real here...me taking FB Screen and WR screen out of the gameplan would have been foolish at best considering you dont do shit for the FB Screen. I dont play by your rules jd....i play by my own...and while I dont like screens...i dont like listening to ridiculous sore losers who dont plan for the best plays in the game either when it really counts....

The WR1 screen can be stopped. Any WL caliber DC should know that.

The challenge is that if you really want to ensure you are limiting it to a 2yd average or less - then you need to definitely commit the RDE.

The WL OC's could live off of the WR1 Screen and Weak Side Slam play. If the RDE kicks out to the flat to stop the WR1 screen, then you hit them with the Weakside Slam... If the RDE doesn't cover the flat - then the Power WR1 is gonna eat you alive with the screen.

Here in season 20 - it is a nightmare to try and guess which to stop. And an OC like bhall is gonna beat your ass if you guess wrong.

ELS game versus Osaka - they slammed it weakside 27 times. I was lucky becuase I guessed right and didn't kick the RDE out to cover the screen. But ESL can run the WR1 screen too... Today they ran it 11x for 3.68avg.

It really is a guessing game - and as a DC you are gonna have to pick your poison - and hope that your offense can control the clock - and score points.

But bottom line... Bitching about it in public just makes you look like a sore loser jd. Regardless if someone apologizes to you or not.
