WEEK 7 - LION
1 Fulham Flying Hellfish (7-0) - Fulham grinded out a 34-16 win by controlling the clock and being opportunistic on defense. I expected a larger margin of victory so I have to start wondering if Fulham is starting to show signs of chinks in their armor that teams are taking advantage of. They've got 4 weeks to go before they face off against Massawa & CWE in back to back games. Can they make it that far undefeated?

2 Massawa Redhorns (7-0) - The Redhorns jumped all over the reeling Bulldawgs. Can Sun City give them a game next week? The Undertakers have been performing better lately so they should not be overlooked.

3 Cagliari Outbreak (6-1) - Outbreak. War Elephants. HUGE. This game should not disappoint.

4 Carthaginian War Elephants (6-1) - See Outbreak.

5 Franchise (5-2) - Easy win for them. They should take Zambezi just as easily before it's off to Massawa to try and knock them off.

6 Wallachia Wamphyri (5-2) - It's time for Wallachia to step up and beat some tougher squads. The Demons should be a good contest for them and follow that up with Fulham. It's now or never to prove this team is a legit playoff threat.

7 San Francisco Demons (4-3) - A slow first half and a slew of turnovers kept the Demons on the sidelines watching Fulham put up points.

8 Sahara Storm (3-4) - Solid game for the Storm. They were down 3-6 at the half before taking a 13-9 lead in the third. One last TD close to the 2 minute warning sealed up the win for them.

9 Sun City Undertakers (3-4) - Crazy game. A hectic 2nd Q gave Sun City a 10-9 lead going into the 2nd half as they held Zambezi to 3 FGs. The Silverbacks settled for another FG in the 3rd Q to take a 2 point lead. Then the 4th quarter turned into a scoring bedlam. Sun City did the biggest damage though with the 4ths first 2 TDs giving them a lead the 'Backs couldn't dig out from.

10 LHC Naked Turtles (2-5) - Tough stretch for LHC that will only continue with Fulham next.

11 West Yorkshire Bandits (2-5) - WYB is hurting right now after 3 straight losses. The really bad news: Outbreak, Demons, Wamphyri, CWE & Fulham are all in the second half of the schedule.

12 Uganda Silverbacks (2-5) - Big loss but they'll bounce back next week.

13 Zambezi Silverbacks (2-5) - A hard fought game (see #9) but in the end a loss nonetheless. The next month is not kind to these Silverbacks either. Franchise, LHC, Fulham & Massawa. Not nice.

14 Kenya Diggits (1-6) - Kenya perplexes me. They put up between 44-66 points against teams that look(ed) playoff bound but then put up 14 against Uganda only to come back and throw up 62 against CWE.

15 Sterling Bulldawgs (1-6) - The Bulldawgs better hope some more Lion teams go CPU soon because right now they're dangerously close to demotion.

16 IRONTON TANKS (1-6) - Lost. Rinse. Repeat.

WEEK 7 - ELEPHANT
1 Nairobi Warthogs (7-0) - Another one bites the tusk.

2 Sons of Anubis (7-0) - Big game coming up against TBH. Sons have to be favored but it won't be an easy match-up.

3 The Dead Presidents (6-1) - A harder win against Kickin than I expected. If not for that 22 point 2nd Q who knows what might have happened. Tough 3 game stretch up next too. WWR, BSS & SOA will give them a run for their money.

4 The Black Hand (4-3) - TBH hasn't lost a game in a month and has been pretty dominant. They'll get to show if they can hang with the top seeds next week against SOA.

5 Windhoek White Rhinos (3-4) - The Rhinos pick up an easy win but now they face TDP. A win against them would set them up nicely as they have 4 very winnable games afterwards that could push them into top 4.

6 Zimbabwe Rebels (4-3) - The Rebels got an easy win this week but not enough to move up in the rankings in my eyes. Pretty easy sched the next 3 weeks that could give them enough of an edge to stay on track for a low seed in the playoffs.

7 Ivory Coast Breakers (5-2) - A decisive win for the Breakers as they jumped out to huge 32 point lead in the first half.

8 Black Sea Sunami (3-4) - In keeping with their pattern for the season BSS lost the last game but should win the next.

9 Angola Blood Diamonds (4-3) - ABD got away with one this week. Down by 7 heading into the 4th Q they got their shit together and put up 14 points to MEA's 3 and came away with a 4 point win.

10 Guyana Generalissimo's (4-3) - With ICB, Zimbabwe, Kickin, WWR, BSS & SOA up the next 6 weeks Guyana's hopes of making the playoffs could start slowly dwindling.

11 The African Predators (3-4) - TAP could not contain ICB through the first half and went down large. They played much better in the 2nd half but by then it was too late.

12 Ron's Texans (1-6) - A shot at win #2 coming up.

13 MaRAWK!!o Evil Aces (1-6) - A hell of a game for the Aces but in the end they couldn't hold their lead to close it out.

14 Darfur Depopulators (1-6) - Another tough loss for Darfur. Next 2 weeks won't be any easier.

15 Kickin Djibouti (1-6) - After a 3 game losing streak things will get a little easier for Kickin. No shot at playoffs but maybe they can pick up a few wins in the next 4 weeks.

16 Wrightstown Tigers (0-7) - Done for the season.

I would not be surprised at all to see these guys roll off a couple wins. They were much better than we expected them to be.

I figured there wasn't a need for both... but I could probably do a coach's poll since KT isn't around
