I'm in shock.
This is definetly the biggest upset in the league this season.
Good game by Cork, and horribly played by us.
Anyhow
Alpha:
Frankfurt massacred Belgrade and is still undefeated.
Belfast met Reykjavik, and even though Reykjavik made the first points, there never was any doubt who the best team is.
Belfast is still second before starting the hard games, while Reykjavik fell down to 13th and can only reach the playoffs by a miracle.
But top 10 is still reachable for them.
As mentioned, we lost shockingly to Cork.
Still we are 3rd while Cork is 11th and will have a really hard time just keeping that spot.
Lyon massacred Clydesdale holding 4th
While Glasgow on 5th massacred Larryville.
In the playoff fight, Marseille met Limerick, where Limerick got completly crushed.
Which means Marseille have the playoff spot in their pockets now as they are on a 6th, while Limerick on 8th still has a good chance for the playoff.
Todays second surprise, though not nearly as big, was Sweden beating IKK Fu.
It was a close game, but Sweden had the upper hand the whole game, eventually taking the victory.
IKK Fu still holds their 7th, but need to watch out so they don't fumble away their playoff spot so to speak.
Even though Sweden won here and are now on 9th, they will still have a hard time making the playoffs.
Spaniards took an easy win over Port St Lucie and holds 10th.
Zeta:
Berlin and London had a really great and really close game.
It could have gone either way, but Berlin managed to hold off during the 4th quarter and take the victory.
Berlin is still undefeated, while London is holding their 5th which seems to be the spot they will end at atm.
In another topgame, Kilkenny met Rome, where Kilkenny was the stronger team until the 4th quarter when Rome managed two TD.
But Kilkenny kept cool, and scored one of their own, securing victory and a 2nd place.
Rome is atm down on 4th.
Buffalo had no trouble with Munich moving up to 3rd place, while Munich still holds their 11th place.
Shamrocks met Drunken, and what i thought would be a close game, showed the Shamrocks walking all over the obviously drunk Drunken.
Shamrocks is still on 6th and it looks like they'll make the playoffs now.
Drunken is still living dangerously on 7th
Tranmere won as expected over Vikings and still holds 8th, while the Vikings still hold 12th.
Vatican massacred P-Ville, but didn't gain anything still holding 9th.
It was a close game between Fighting Irish and BC, where BC had a small lead after the first half.
In the second however, they got tired and Fighting Irish finished it off to a secure victory.
Fighting Irish holds 10th, but it will be hard for them to get into the playoffs.
Leeds defeated Camelot, and with that most likely sent them down to A.
This is definetly the biggest upset in the league this season.
Good game by Cork, and horribly played by us.

You still have Belfast at 5?
Kinda harsh don't you think?
..Never mind, just looked at their schedule.. they may lose 2 or 3 more.

Good Game Rome, It was a tough game. I am glad to see both our teams among the top this season.

Yup, kinda nice after our first season. That was a rough learning curve.

Unless the owner wakes up, Limerick is not making the playoffs. Which is a shame really since they have a decent team on paper.

It might be a little harsh but we really are in a one game at a time situation...each win should see us climb a little....but there is always the possibility that we are about to go 0-5 through the toughest part of our season!

How do you figure that? Our next 3 games are very winnable, no offense to the opposing teams. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
